NIce! in my opinion, I feel that the background was too apparent in that mockup, keira knightley's face (as pretty as it is) kind of stole iron man's thunder.

Keira can certainly have that effect!
Seriously though, as with all the other views, you can toggle on or off the background mattes if so desired. I just had them off in that shot.

I was messing around yesterday, and decided to get myself a bit more organized than my scratches in a notebook about what I neded to do on Fusion. At the sametime I figured it would be good if I had a way to allow you all to report bugs.
So I went ahead and set up an actual project tracker for the skin. Its a nice little easy to use program that will allow you all to submit bug reports, see what bugs are open and what progress is being made on the skin.

You can also use it to see a "roadmap" indicating where we stand on the next release of the skin. You can see that by clicking on "roadmap" in the tracker, or directly from this URL:

Very nice, keeps thing tidy and lets all of us keep up with the progress. I assume there is a link to the tracker from your fusion website?

Fusion Alpha 6, nicknamed Vusion, WILL be released this week.
This is a total rewrite of Fusion and completely new graphics. Essentially this is Fusion from scratch. It will be up to the same level of functionality that the existing alpha 5 is, but will only be for 720p at first.
