Hi,
My running Kodi system with Netflix add on of good standing suddenly stopped working.  I have updated everything, sign in /sign out.  Updated login credetials.  
Login is ok, i can search Netflix, find the titles, etc, however when i click on to play after having the blue wheel on screen for a second or two nothing happens.  Same Netflix account works seemlessly on a computer in the same network.  Any idea?

i have a S912 box, i have also succeed to get 720p NF streams if i boot to CoreElec 9.2.1. However, i don't want to switch my system to CE
i wants to run KODI on android system. so my question is: is it possible to get 720p NF streams if i run KODI on a AOSP box? 

For Netflix addon to work in Android, the Android device must have Widevine support. Install DRMInfo app from the playstore and see if it shows Widevine DRM support. Widevine Level 3 is good enough to do 720p as long as the CPU is capable of decoding. There is no hardware aceleration possible for Netflix unless it has Level 1 Widevine support.  If there is no Widevine supported on the Android S912 box, then the only way is to run CoreElec to gain Widevine Level 3 capability

However, I've not been able to get Atmos sound, just DD+. Also, when I get Dolby Vision, it appears to be 1080p not 4K. Am I missing a setting? Advice please. Thanks in advance!

However, I've not been able to get Atmos sound, just DD+. Also, when I get Dolby Vision, it appears to be 1080p not 4K. Am I missing a setting? Advice please. Thanks in advance!

If you're on the latest FireTV version (6.2.7.7. if I remember correctly), it's Amazon's fault, due to the latest update. They messed up something. I own the 4k stick myself and using a Kodi 19 version which is optimized for our stick and play Netflix with Dolby Atmos flawlessly.

On the other hand in my HP N2840-linux-NF 18.6  setup , there is no HW acceleration ,but manages 720 p. Is that normal ? Is there any way to eable HW acceleration (which works in other addons with H264 streams-not H265)

Hmm, will check the version. Outside of Kodi I do get Atmos and DV with Disney+ and some Prime content. I'm thinking I might have to upgrade to Nvidia Shield if this isn't fixable soon.

Ah, that must be it. I had the Castagna repository one from Kodi 18.9. Will look for this one, thanks.

Go to Settings - Player - Videos and make sure you have the Sync playback to display to off.

Sync playback was off. I also did a couple restarts of the Firestick from the main device menu but the problem continues. Very strange. I definitely get Atmos from Disney+ and other sources. Anything else I should try?
