Exactly what did you do to get it working normally again ? I have 2 Intel NUC's running LE 9.2.3 and my own API keys which I made around 3 years ago.
Nothing at all . The keys I used are from 30 Dec last year. Running on a NUC. Just took this vid showing it load subscriptions.

If I don't uninstall and reinstall, how do I enter the code ? If I do uninstall and reinstall, will I have to modify all the settings all over again ?
My keys are 3 years old. Are they too old to work now ?
Go in to Youtube add-on settings. Go to Advanced scroll down select Enable setup-wizard. Next time you start it it'll go through its wizard. API keys should remain intact.

I enabled setup-wizard. It asked me if I wanted to execute the wizard. I said YES. It asked two questions about editing language and geo location. I answered NO to both. I exited the YouTube addon and re-entered but nothing happened. The wizard never ran. I tried this a dozen times but no wizard. What am I doing wrong ?
Tried it, put language/loc in. said no to geo. Returns to normal screen then you log in and it will say 'you need to enable two....'

As an experiment I altered an API key by one letter and came out. Tried to log in 'you must enable...' did that and it threw the API error.
Back into settings fixed the API key. Try to log in 'you must enable...' did that . Success, all working, proving it's accepting my keys from last December.

It didn't work for me. I enabled the setup-wizard and entered my location and language. I answered NO to Geo Location. I was not returned to the main screen. I then enabled the wizard again and signed out and then signed in. It did the 2-step login process but when it was done I still have the invalid Key message.
Maybe make some new keys. Mines still OK even after messing with the keys. I can't be the only one with it working.

If I uninstall the YouTube addon and then reinstall it, will my old keys still be there or must I input them again ?
How can I cut and paste the keys using my Windows 10 computer ?
My YouTube addon runs on Libreelec.
Are the old keys being blacklisted or disabled ?

You can uninstall without losing your data, you tell it not to. I add the keys remotely via Linux file manager.
An easy way is insert a blank flash drive, then using Libreelec file manager copy settings.xml from storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.youtube/ to drive. Edit settings.xml on PC save and return to Libreelec using the same procedure reversed. See screenshot
, shows where to insert keys .

I uninstalled the YouTube Addon and then reinstalled it, leaving my personal settings remain. I still have the same issue. I can use "My Subscriptions" but there are no thumbnails. "Watch Later" and "Subscriptions" both have the pop-up invalid API Key error message. What I don't understand is that my Windows 10 machine running Kodi and the YouTube addon works just fine. It has the exact same API Keys. Why would these 3-year old keys work with Windows / Kodi but not Libreelec / Kodi ?
