I agree with the original point of this post, it would be a great idea to get mirrors of thetvdb wonder what the folks who run the site think?
Be an interesting project to run also...

Further to this, just done a quick search through their forum for mirror

seems they are working on a mirror based system for a new version of the site.

... well, they ´re working on a complete new db-system and page design for at least two years now, does anybody know some facts?
