Would this be a good NAS to go with? QNAP TS-420 Diskless System Network Storage

I wouldn't buy a pre-built NAS ever, FreeNAS or unRAID on cheap hardware is way way better IMO. I've been using unRAID for at least 7 years or so and haven't ever lost data (shrug). 30TB of storage currently...

So i'm looking to buy a separate rc, i searched the thread and it seems http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1714980 an mce rc would be the better choice over xbox rc. Can anyone confirm if this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Windows-Control-...mce+remote is likely to work out of the box and would be better than say this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Media-...box+remote ?
Thanks

Should have it tomorrow... so I can report back then, if you want.
