I love the new Widgets but i miss the Symbol Panel to create Shortcuts of individual Video & Program Addons.
I'm able to set Programs in the Widget but only all of them not an certain.

You can still create shortcuts in the widgets it's just different now. you no longer use a an icon panel.

Go to the menu where you want your shortcut panel to show up and then for one of the widgets (or both if you want two) select panel or extended panel either will work. Then select the custom widget. You'll then get the option to select custom widget items. Go into that And start adding shortcuts to either your addons or special locations in your setup. It's actually much better now because you have as many of these as you want where as before you were limited to only 20 total shortcuts.

I found another widget issue, in the systeminfo the temperature of graphics and cpu the Celsius unit are shown twice.

Now only my resume and new overlay icon issue are unresolved.

Okay guys I have some serious widget issues

(I have to precise before that screenshots are from :
- Fresh install from Git
- Fresh Textures and videodb)

I noticed that once you have a widget bug for a specific movie, it is on for a lot more as soon as you press "info"

1) Some posters and cd's are missing (same issue that cast / see some pages earlier) :



I tried to change the poster in all possible ways but the bug remains..




2) This one is a TV Show, I have no plot, no title and a wrong cast (cast of Star Wars) :





3) This is an addon widget :





4) Cast is missing for next aired series





5) I have some texture bugs (textures go missing) after :

* I play a little bit with widgets
* Setting up new shortcuts
* Coming back from fullscreen videos on main menu


6) I still don't see any pannel rotate in music viz
7) There is no name for artist when you play music from SpotiMc

@meowmoo: I can think of two ideas.

1. Add plot to the right side, and make an option to show logo instead of the title on the left?
2. Add just the logo to the right?

Plot would be to long I guess, maby outline, I will give it a go tonight and see what I like.

Logo should go on the left side so music and video looks the same, but haven't seen a $INFO videoplayer.xxx that provide logo, so I put the poster there to see if it works.

Maby one of the skilled skinners can point me the way to get the logo for the playing media?

for 1-3 please provide how you have setup the widgets, what the source is etc.etc. for each widget

4, maybe be something that hasn't been done and will be looked into.

5. We know of these lost textures and don't know why it happens at the moment.

6-7, you won't have panel rotate as that may have been removed as part of the 'Alarm clock' freeze issue, there is no integration in Madnox for spotimc. Logos will only work if you have the music locally and then a logo.png in the relevant folder and you have your paths configured correctly in settings.

I think i found the Resume Icon Problem, after i rename the /media/Overlayprogress.png to /media/overlayprogress.png the Icon is shown (after reboot).
But the Problem with the new Icon is still there.



In the 3D Panel View the Icons still worked.

Hallo guys,

First of all love your skin, it's the best of all I had try so far!

Installed your RC1 version and stumbled over something:

I use your skin on an android based himedia q10 player, so far so good.
But there is one big problem, because the remote has no Info button, so I can't use your new widget system.

The old way just pressing the ok on a widget to open the information behind works perfect.
Is it possible to build an option, that's gives me the chance to open the widget by pressing the ok button?

By the way, everything else works fine!

P.S.:

Found some "issue":

With landscape-view on you normally see the landscape of your movies in your widget.

But when there is no landscape for the movie the widget build his own landscape by mixing a fanart with the clear logo.
Now there is only the fanart without the clear logo.

Okay for the listing :

1) First picture is compact pannel, widget that points toward a playlist shortcuts for some of my movies, it is not a provider (ActvateWindow(............playlist.xsp))
2) Second one is List, Kodi Newly added episode or library data provider recent episodes, I don't remember and have no way to check it
3) The third one is Extended Mix with a direct shortcut on all video addons

Okay, but in that case the option of rotating pannel has to be removed because it is still possible to activate it. It would be so cool though to keep that option !
I provided original Warlion's MusicViz.xml one month ago to meowmoo (with no alarm freeze bug nor musicviz bugs) but no news on it, that's why I thought he was perhaps working on it and wanted to check on that issue.

After installing it worked ok for several hours untill i get some errors :

i did a clean install after, with same results. The only errors i found in log are related to script.skin.helper.service

Any ideea what this is about ?

I looked at it, warlion use the alarm trigger to rotate it, there was no freeze because the bug got introduced in kodi 16, and I have no idea how to archive it without alarm.

I remove the option tonight.

I think I found a solution for 2) I had script.randomlastitems still installed. This one is not needed anymore right ? I think I had a conflict with it.

@nicos77 the missing texture bug is old new, we sing have a solution at the moment, the is a add-on (I'm on smart phone need to look) the let you reload the skin than the texture is back again

@dvbtjunkie, are you on Openelec by any chance?

@pustekuchen, I would suggest looing into your keymap.xml or keyboard.xml and mapping something specific for your remote to activate the I key? can you supply a screenshot please for you landscape issue.

@Lockos, most of your issues I can't look at in full until the weekend. I will look into them then and see what can be done. What tvshow is number 2 supposed to be?
