do a search for background3.png while editing aqtbrowser.py then change to background2.png to get your background back. you can use any png file you want for the background by putting the proper name in that string.

thank you for your suggestion.
i choosed to use the background.png file (present in the project mayhem ii skin folder) as the background of the trailers page. so i simply changed the background3.png with background.png in the aqtbrowser.py file.
now i have a nice light blue background (that match the skin tone) instead of the black one. it only miss the writing "trailers" at the top of the page.

now the only problem that it remains to be solved is that trailers play jerkily (the cache size i think is the key!. any suggestion about it?

re: web radio temporary fix

i have managed to get my web radio working but only by using an alternative script.

i found the alternative version of the kml web radio (webradio 2) here

i have never seen the proper (the one that ships with xbmc) working and so i can't compare the two. i'm not intending on using the radio much but its nice to have all the features of xbmc working.

please let me know if you need any help or get the original working.

i just wanted to post the same solution you proposed! i found it yesterday and it works good.
i'm only a little bit disappointed about the radios available: no "famous" radios are there...  

by the way i agree with you when you say that it's nice to have all the features of xbmc working.

if i could get main stream stations that'd be great
(ie radio one/radio five live for football (i'm in the uk); there must shortcuts out there somewhere that'll work with xbmc for these stations, any ideas anyone??!!!!

otherwise i prob won't use the radio that much!!!

you are right. the script doesn't list the independent trailers. so it would be nice if you can post the small change for the script.

here is a slight modification to the apple movie trailer script so that the "independent" trailers will now be available. in the function:

def parsedistributors(htmlpage):

at the beginning of the for loop, change the following line:

for i in range(1, len(distributors) - 1):

to this:

for i in range(1, len(distributors)):

not sure why the author had the -1 there in the first place, as it meant the last distributor, the "independent" was not being processed. again, appears to be no side effects in making this change, the for loop does not get out of range. and you should now see the independent trailers.

i downloaded your scripts folder and installed but it did not help.  trailers work but web radio doesn't

when you select "web radio" does nothing happen

try going into "scripts" (same menu where "web radio" is) and running "kmlbrowse" and then quickly pressing the white button on the control pad (this will bring up any errors that have occured) post back any errors.

have you copied all the files accros (replacing any existing)
ie all of the "scripts" folder, all of the "python" folder, copied the 2 font files into "skin/project mayhem/fonts".
