Win [Release] Viaplay (plugin) video addon - Viaplay - Discontinued
(2015-02-08, 10:26)syntharjävel Wrote: I got rid of keyboard and mouse for my htpc a while back. But Im looking to get going with that remote app for Android today. I suppose its got a keyboard inside to press x?

I could use that.. Or mediaportal Wink

unfortunately the remote app for Android does not work since it only sends commands within Kodi, not outside which is where the playback is taking place.
You could just wait until I fix the issue Smile
From what I can tell there seems to be different IDs from the remote when used on Windows 8 and Windows 7 which is very strange.
It could also be that I use a different IR-reciever but the same remote. But as I said, I'm looking into this and I hope to have this solved during the coming week.

I now tried some other categories than yesterday (sports wich opened the chrome, logged in but didnt press play as I wrote earlier) and I get "script failed" and then kodi crashes. Let me check if I can get a log out of this thing and pm you.

This is great! I only have one small issue.

When the page open if need to push the button to start playing.

Anyway this can be fixed?

Have you consider to make a same plugin for Cmore?

What platform are you running the addon on?
Automatic playback is only supported on Windows.

I'm actually almost finished with my C More Play addon, just have to do some more testing.
The first version will not contain Sports but everything else such as Movies, TV-series, children content, documentaries and channels.

How can I make this work with the latest kodiUbuntu?

Have installed "silverlight" for ubuntu, and the Chromium works.

Do I neet to get Chrome? If yes, how?

And will this work in kodiUbuntu?

For how to install Chrome, you could take a look at this thread it might help you with that:

It should work, I've not personally tested it on KodiUbutu, but I've tested the addon on Ubuntu (about a year ago) with pipelight and Chrome and got it working.
The addon only works with Chrome. Please let me know if you get it to work or not.

I'm not sure, I've not experienced any problems with sound myself.
Although some users have had problems, perhaps this response (a few posts back in this thread) had a suggestion regarding this:

Hi. im not sure if this helps anything. but would this make it possible to use Viaplay from openelec ?

It seems that viaplay is making a html5 version of their homepage that does not use silverlight. because a 64bit version of chrome to mac does not support sliverlight.

im sorry but the text is in danish https://viaplaydk.zendesk.com/hc/da/arti...%C3%A5-Mac

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
This could be a big boost for Linux, but I'm not sure if Openelec (at least for Raspberry Pi) would work.
There is a Chromium addon but that version does not work with Netflix (which also uses html5) so my guess is that Viaplay probably would not work with Chromium.
But I could be wrong... Smile

Got the sound working and chrome is installed.

The only issue I got now is that the addon won't load anything.
Push enter on a movie or show, no response Sad

It could be related to the path where Chrome is installed.
I'll try and see if there is anything I can do on my end.

I've released a new version of the addon.
Please see the first post for more information and download link.

@eikum
Please try the new version, I'm hoping that my fix for playback on other platforms might work better for you.
Try it out and let me know Smile
