Has the home theater experience been implemented? Also, it would be cool if there was a way to update XBMC without having to redo all of the settings and adding sources. I'm sorry if there is a better place for this post.

I have no idea what you're asking here...

XBMC is already like that, and it's mentioned in the FAQ. User settings are kept in a different location than the XBMC application. All you have to do is install the newer version of XBMC over the older one, and all the old settings are carried over to the new version.

The polll was for features of the HTE and there is a list of skins that support it, confluence is not one of them.

I am introducing a friend to XBMC and am a relatively new user myself so I have some questions:
First the hardware description: P3-900Mhz, 768MB RAM, Open GL 1.3 GPU w/GLSL, 120GB disk, ISA AWE64 or other ISA sound card.
I know its ancient but its quiet and it all works properly, even the sleep mode. What do I need to know?
1. Will this setup do 1080i and stereo sound well with Frodo?
2. What disto should I run it on if I want only youtube and URL streaming?
3. Has anyone done a howto on such ancient hardware (ISA sound, AGP graphics, ATAPI storage, etc.)?

Please start a new thread for this. This thread is about working on an FAQ page to help users upgrade from XBMC v11 to XBMC v12.

I've set up frodo whilst keeping Eden (renamed Eden in Program and Userdata).
My problem is that I have lost all my movies. It does a scan through them all (very quickly 250 in 3 mins) but adds none, interestingly the TV Shows (also done quick) are all fine.
I've tried removing and re adding the sources but with no success, any idea whats happened?

Are you using IMDB as a scraper for movies? I heard they're having some issues lately that should be fixed once the scraper add-on gets updated (if it hasn't already).
