Thank you

I'm going through Amazon documentation, so eventually all the commands will work.
But current version only supports searching and playing, and play/pause/stop .. even though stop is kinda flaky, since it usually just pauses the playback

Will it eventually be able to change PVR channel in Kodi using https://developer.amazon.com/docs/video/...ge-channel?

But I would need an alfa tester for that, since I don't have anything to test in on.

I just made a quick test of the 0.1.5 version of the add-on. Works perfectly! No more Alexa time out errors. Video loading seems quicker too. Great work!

Hi tkislan,
I installed everything according to your tutorial and now I have a problem.
Alexa Dod connects to my Kodi on the Nvidia Shield and the connection remains. If I say "Alexa, play Interstellar"
then she answers me "getting Interstellar from Kodi video" but the video does not start.
I tested it with Kodi 17.6 and a newly installed Kodi 18 nightly (kodinerds build). I don't share my video library with kodi.
I live in germany and of course I talk to Alexa in german .
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. last but not least, I apologize for my bad english.

What does it mean, that you don’t share your video library with kodi?
Kodi Connect addon queries video library in Kodi, it doesn’t go through filesystem.
It also helps, if you can enable debug log, and check what’s going on.
Especially new 0.1.5 version does log extensively, which is really helpful

All my videos are in the library. I don't share the library with other Kodi devices. that's what I meant.
I am testing your new version now

How can I tell which version of the Alexa Kodi Video skill I am running? Does it update automatically or do I need to perform some action?
