Hi,

Do you see anything in the xbmc.log file?

Could you try to open MovieQuery.asp in the movies subfolder and tell us what you get ?
#47
Hi,

this sounds very nice and impressive! I'll try this out tonight with my installation and my hopes are very high!

One question: are you able to scan the filesystem and do a comparement between the contents of the folders and the contents of the library and offer a list of files that are not represented in the library? I just wrote a little script that does this comparement but there is no user interface and the result is stored to a simple textfile. Would be great if such a tool was integrated into a webservice like this one.

Don't get your expectations too high, it's still work in progress.
Your script sounds very cool. Would you like to share it? I could integrate it into a web interface

digitaldesaster,

good. so I suspect that the XML result is incomplete.

Could you paste the result MovieQuery.asp (view source) into a pastebin?

Your script sounds very cool. Would you like to share it? I could integrate it into a web interface
For sure, the script and it's description is in the wiki: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Linux-Script...ped_Movies

It's a linux shell script and its output could be formatted in any way you like. Tell me if I can help you with integration.
#52
Here it is... never heard from pastebin before :-)

update: first seems not complete....

Almaciguero Wrote:Hello.
- When I edit a movie and give it to save, nothing changes. The film still has the same information.

Fixed with latest version (1.2.2)
Could you test it with the new version and let me know.

Thanks, this will be very helpful.
From what I see I have an issue the XML parser and some special characters.
I'll work on it and let you know.

it does not work with XBMC Camelot Beta1, does it?
#56
double post, sorry

Questionario Wrote:it does not work with XBMC Camelot Beta1, does it?

Actually it does (at least on linux). just upgraded to Camelot beta1.

Sadly, web interface didn't work at all with my installation, therefore I couldn't test this manager. Blush Will have to take a deeper look into that.

slash Wrote:Any suggestion on how you want to find the movies? do you have a large collection?

I would like to search for movies by title. My library now consists of 200 films.

slash Wrote:You can't with the current version. I'll add it to the features request list

Ok. No hurry.

slash Wrote:Hmm, what browser are you using ? XBMC version ?

Using Firefox 3.5.5. Do not use XBMC, use PLEX 0.8.5.
I tested version 1.2.2:
- I see the list of movies but still can not save the changes.

Thanks.

Sad
Keep me posted. I'm interested in why. May be I need to improve the install process on my side.
