ThanksSmile

So your custom skin isn't working? I need you to help out, lol... a tmp fix is just that! if you don't help, problem will still exist.

Are you saying when you select "custom" in your skins you see default images? can I see a screen shot?
I have the bug
Not only in custom skins but also in your skin "PLTV"
Example with a fresh install with just rss channels:

First run-ok
Image

then exit PLTV(not xbmc) and start again
Image

Hmm Weird, you can repeat this problem. Every time you start fresh, run PTVL, exit ,and load ptvl

Yes,every time(start,run,exit,load)not something random...

In order to work again fine have to exit both(PLTV+XBMC)...so I begin the cycle again: start fresh,....

I'm thinking about writing a script that searches google images for missing network logos and channel bugs.
Would you be interested? Even tho there is a chance it will use a logo that is either unrelated to the search or something you don't like?

Or do you prefer setting up your own?

I prefer to set 'em manually. The risk of having inaccurate and/or irrelevant Google results would be an inconvenience for me. But writing a script where you can toggle it on or off would likely be beneficial!

PS: I know you're a busy dude, but check your PMs when you get the chance. Excited to set up donor features & to become an official community contributor!

I agree its better to do manually but then again that sounds like a awesome feature.

Hopefully this helps
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=120377&page=37
I read that a few days ago and yes it did help to make the ustvnow xmltv file the problem is ustvnow doesn't require a xmltv file because its pulling from Lunatixz's and his server shuts down from quota exceeded...so if we run our own we wouldn't have that problem if I understand whats going on.
so if I knew what file to edit to point to my ustvnow xmltv.data it would work ? and that's not on google or if it is it's so well hidden I'll never find it .

If my research is right, it calls the server on line 3001 in ChannelList.py.
At least, the url currently listed there points to an xmltv file on a Google server, so that should be what you need to change! Just my guess... Big Grin
Awesome ...thank you sir
