I followed the instructions and deleted "addons27.db" as soon as i went to open kodi the unexpected closed would you like to reopen poped back up and so did the addons27.db.
for step 5 I copy/paste "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES" in to the terminal app.
Eriks-iMac:~ Epeden$ defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
Eriks-iMac:~ Epeden$
this is what I got.
was i supposed to copy/past the error log from the console app?
either way I was not successful, any help wold be appreciated.

Hi, This doesn't help me, I come unstuck on step 7 as there is no folder in Application Support called Kodi or XBMC.
Any other suggestions?

You can stop posting now. This is caused by third-party crapware and we will not fix it.

Hi, I'm having an issue where Kodi will not launch. I keep receiving an error saying Kodi quit unexpectedly. I have searched the forum for a solution and I believe the following would help. In my ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi/userdata/Database I have the following files/folders
Addons20.db
Addons27.db
ADSP0.db
CDDB
Epg11.db
MyMusic56.db
MyVideos99.db
saltscache.db
Textures13.db
TV29.db
UKTurk.db
ViewModes6.db
Like a previous poster, I do not have Kodi listed in the Applications Support folder so I have become stuck.
Can anyone help me please?
Regards
