It seems to be, thanks.

Alright, slaveunit may have been correct in the first place. Try downloading a rev after 22361. You may have to wait a bit for one to become available.

flighttothemoon Wrote:How can I install previous svn build (22278)? I downloaded 3 files:
xbmc-common__9.04+svn22278-jaunty1._i386.deb
xbmc-web-pm3_9.04.2+svn22278-jaunty1_i386.deb
xbmv-skin-pm3_9.04.2+svn222278-jaunty1_386.deb

Read that it is necessary to copy them into folder "/var/cache/apt/archives" and then use dpkg to install it but i am not let to copy any files into there. I dont have any other previous versions of svn builds.

I was watching xvid files (that's what the Aeon media tag says) earlier today, seeking through them with no issue. Later, I ran my software updates on Ubuntu, which included the latest XBMC SVN.

Ever since, the TV show that I've been trying to watch will crash whenever I try to seek through it (or, atleast forward, never tried backward).

First, to see if it was all videos, I tried an HD movie, and it didn't crash. I then tried an HD TV show, and it didn't crash. I tried another SD Xvid show, and it did crash.

It doesn't seem to happen for all Xvid files, though; I've played atleast one Xvid TV show that did not crash when I tried seek forward.

I've used both the right button on my iPhone XBMC Remote program, and the right arrow on my keyboard.

DEBUG: http://pastebin.com/m9648f2

I'm using this over HDMI, to a TV, using an AMD CPU, NVIDIA on-board 8200 motherboard, and Ubuntu 9.04, with latest XBMC SVN.

I see there is a new PPA in there, 22416...gonna be brave and try that, now that i know how to roll back.

Hmm just did the sudo apt-get update/upgrade/ install deal and it only went back to 22290...not 22416..anyone know why?

Edit: damnit now i know why...looked into it and it says fail to compile
