Release Aeon Nox 5: Maniac
Thanks,
I use VDR
Thanks for a great skin & live tv mod. Appreciate the time you put into this

Unfortunately, on Mac OS X is not working.
Script script.skinshortcuts addon manually reinstalled and keep this message:
Unable to build menu.
Another attempt is a new Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11 and Kodi 15-Beta2 and skin 5.6.0-1.11 - not work. Sad

Original skin Aeon Nox works.
I'm also having the issue with skin shortcuts when installing from windows to a firetv stick. It works fine on windows but I recieve the error after restoring to firetv
I have received a MacMini not long ago, so I will test this when I hook it up Smile

@vinkler & @jimbo: Could you try this:
1) Set Confluence as default
2) Download this addon, and (re)install it via Kodi: script.skinshortcuts
3) Switch to my skin

If it fails, please provide a debug-log via pastebin.

Good news and bad news.

The error itself still occurs.

However, all of my submenus and backgrounds now stay in tact whereas before they did not. I also noticed a crash while addons were updating but that seems to be fixed. Fingers crossed.

So as of right now, it's just a minor annoyance that the error keeps popping up.

I can't seem to find an easy way to pull my log from the firetv stick as the couple methods I've tried aren't working. If someone can help me with that I'd gladly provide a log
Hmm still weird. Yeah a debug log would be nice.

I presume that FireTV uses this path to store the .log files: /sdcard/android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/

Did you try this for firetv: http://www.tweaking4all.com/home-theatre...-log-files

hi thanks for your reply , we have done as per post 110 , we still getting the same error http://xbmclogs.com/phzyimcee
Here's my log; http://pastebin.com/DaijHC2D

I don't know how to interpret it but just by looking at it, it still seems like Skin Shortcuts is the culprit.
And here is my log:

For the logs posted that do it correctly by enabling debug logging and then restarting because startup info is also important... I keep seeing an error with script-skinshortcuts-includes.xml so try deleting that file when Kodi is off then restart Kodi. If that does not work... Delete the same file again and also try deleting all traces of skin.shortcuts including the script folders in addons and the addon_data folder the latter of which is in your userdata (wiki) folder. Restart Kodi and then reinstall the latest GitHub version from here https://github.com/BigNoid/script.skinsh...master.zip using the addon managers "Install from zip" option.
I was unable to locate that particular xml file. I deleted all traces of the script an both addons and addon_data and I noticed that the error stops. However, predictably when I restart the submenus are back to default. Worst case scenario I could probably just rebuild my submenus but that would take a while.

I should've warned about that but assumed if you are deleting stuff you would know that it was a possibility. Sorry about that. You can always restore your files if you have not permanently deleted them. Since it works my theory is a custom shortcut that is invalid... have you made any custom shortcuts, not chosen but, manually typed?
