With an "unofficial version" being the working one at the moment, would I be out of line requesting features?
What I would love to see is the ability to create or edit stations within XBMC. That would make this already great addon an absolute monster.

I have been having trouble sporatically with the pandora addon the last the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it works flawlessly and other times it only plays about 3 songs and stops. I usually play my 'quickmix' station. What is causing it to stall after 3 songs sometimes? It's happening more and more.

Question.. I'm looking for a way to map Skin.SetBool(PandoraVis) to the tab key... Anyone have any ideas?
**edit** what I mean is to be able to push tab to go to the visualization like you would with a locally stored song.

Hey guys,
I just reinstalled the latest pandora (above link). I believe I was running that version already anyway but did it just to make sure. Anyway, Pandora still stops after 3 songs for me. I can restart it when it stops. XBMC nor the pandora crash.
Does anybody have any idea what might be going on? I'm on Eden stable (win 7x64)
thanks

Did you interact with the Pandora add-on GUI at all while it was playing or did you just leave it alone and let it play by itself until it quit on its own? I launched the Pandora add-on a while ago, selected the QuickMix option, and it's played at least a half dozen songs so far without incident.

I just clicked on the "quickmix" button and it started to play. I didn't touch another other button while it played the 3 songs (and just stops). All of this was done via Teamviewer. I also tried VNC and just operating it normally with a TV remote in the living room. All 3 methods have the same "stop after 3 song" issue.
Where you able to check out the debug code? I do see some errors in there but don't know what they mean.
thanks

I did see some errors having to do with the thumb-down button (that's why I asked if you clicked anything or not), but they don't appear to be fatal errors. It appears your problem may have started around 11:16:33 - 11:17:01 in your debug log, but I'm not a programmer, so I can't say unequivocally if that's where it occurred or what may have caused the add-on to subsequently stop playing.
Hopefully, someone with more knowledge can see something in your log and offer some suggestions. However, keep in mind that this add-on is no longer being actively developed/maintained, so any support will be ad hoc at best.
Have you tried playing one of your Pandora stations instead of the QuickMix option to see if it makes a difference? Try changing the audio quality in the Pandora add-on configuration to see if that helps. Are you using a proxy (I'm not)?
Not to gloat or rub salt in your wound, but the add-on has been playing continously for me since prior to my previous post (3+ hours), so that seems to point the finger away from the code itself... maybe something to do with your configuration of the add-on, your Pandora account settings, or your operating system? We're both running Eden stable and the VTWoods add-on; however, I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and you're running Win 7 64.

The problem started a couple of months ago and would only happen once in awhile. Now it always does it. I did try playing a normal station with the same result.
I dont use a proxy and have always used the default audio settings. I have another computer that I might use to isolate the problem but I hope programmer might point out the problem from the log.
Thanks
