[RELEASE] XBMC Subtitles - Addon Script
Sorry, I did miss the 3.4.1 version you posted. My bad.

Tried it and it's working perfectly now! You don't know how you make my life easier with this addon! Thanks
cool, lets get one or 2 more confirmations and i'll push it up to official
yes amettttttttt

great job it worked.

I can confirm.

Can you tell us what it was related to..... i had a special character in my path too.

I'm very happy to have found that bug and that you corrected so fast

Great job and continue like that

Sorry, I don't have logs this time, but movie "[REC]³ Génesis (2012)" didn't work with earlier versions (3.4.0 = "You can't save to selected destination..") but this version 3.4.1 works like a charm. Smile

So if that was some kind of character encoding problem, it seems to be fixed.

credit to Martijn for testing /fixing it as well... I am not even sure who figured it out Smile

EDIT: issue was with UTF-8 paths being sent from XBMC, we needed to decode("utf-8") to get it to work properly ... https://github.com/amet/script.xbmc.subt...b5c9625d6a
Working like a charm again, thanks!

I have the same issue on atv2. Crashes and burns as soon as I press the subtitle button on my remote to launch the script. Hope the debug log helps. Its not a skin issue, I also tested with confluence.

xbmc.log
crashreporter.log
Same issue here with mac mini mid 2010

I can confirm the same crash behavior on both iPad and atv2 with frodo alpha 6

Amet, what about my log? Did u have the time to check it?
Is a XBMC Subtitle problem or the service.py problem?
thanks
