Hi all.
i´m new to xbmc and have some problems playing some of my files.
i´d like to narrow down to problem.

I have no problem playing the left file, but i have audio drops and choppy playback with the right one.
Firt i thought its maybe related to the format ( [email protected]), but other file with the same format play fine...

maybe its a known problem somebody know?

It seems the Receiver is loosing the audio connection for a second, play a few seconds without problems and loosing the connection again...and so on.
Using powerdvd or vlc, the playback of These files is no Problem....

Im using an a10 Trinity apu connected via HDMI to a Marantz AV7005...

If somebody need some details or a Log, just let me know...

of course i´ll try,
have to work for the next 11h, will try in the evening and report back.
i rolled back to beta2 btw... should i try the latest nightly as a portable install first ?

deinstalled beta2, rebooted, and did a fresh install of RC1.
pblem is the same.... here is the log:

if i disable "Receiver is cabable of DTS-HD" so i got normal DTS Surround, movie and sound play fine.
Using PowerDVD12, i can play this movie without a problem bitstreaming DTS-HD...

hmm, maybe.
i tested alot of movies in my libary, and all movies with problem are :

AVC / [email protected] / DTS-HD or DTS-HR / 23,976hz

now,
is the format [email protected], everything is fine....
is the video file playing on 24,000hz, everything is fine...
is it a movie without HD-AUDIO everything is fine.

There is no general problem with all files on [email protected], or all files on 23,976hz. But there are problems with the combination mentioned above. at least for me.

one more time, unchecking "Receiver cabable of DTS-HD and Dolby True HD" and all files play smooth.

So i think its not a video player problem but problems with the Audio Engine.

i have set xbmc to passthrough to my receiver...yes

other files containing HD-Audio play fine...

receiver cabable of everything
boost downmix volume unchecked
stereo to all speakers unchecked

using WASAPI for both output

no sync option enabled, but checked "adjust refreshrate to match video"

HI played out your test sample, it played well. WASAPI HDMI output, Vert blank disabled direct to LG flat panel.
Win 64/7 Frodo RC1 T! boost downmix volume unchecked, stereo to all speakers unchecked. ATI HD 5770 Cat 12.10
