but what I'm looking to do now is set up something so that I have a way to view all of the "ROM" across all launchers.

No, actually not possible.

Actually VERY possible.. But a LOT of work is required
you have to add one game at a time with its emulator like you are adding a windows game.

for example

select the exe mame.exe and then for arguments type 1942
One at a time.. scrapping manually
after hours of work you will have 1 list containing all systems and games
You can effectively do it manually using .lnk, .bat or .sh files containing emulator path, arguments and item/rom path and it will be effecively very long. But I think what jgtg32a asking, once you have created several launchers containing items/roms, is if it is possible to have a list containing of all items/roms... and this is not possible. But I think RCB can do it.

Code:
pskill -t XBMC.exe
cd C:\Program Files\HyperSpin\
Hyperspin.exe
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\"
start /max XBMC.exe

Ok so i make a bat file but where do i place the bat file and what do i name it.
Place it where you want, name it as you want. You just have to replace the Hyperspin.exe path into Advanced Launcher by the .bat path.

Code:
pskill -t XBMC.exe

Hyperspin.exe

start /max XBMC.exe

Well i created the bat file and selected the bat file in stead of the hyperspin exe in advanced launcher. I start hyperspin in advanced launcher and xbmc closes but Hyperspin does not come up.

Yeah it was a long shot, but it isn't overly important to do. It is more along the lines of what link for in the main menu while having the submenus be individual emulators. Right now it is set to Steam Big Picture and I was t overly impressed with the scrapers results for PC games(Indy mainly) when I added a PC section so I may just leave it alone.

I'll take a look at RCB

Have you installed PSTools on your system (extracted zip file into Windows directory)?

Ok, so the .bat file is not abble to start Hyperspin.exe. Does Hyperspin path is C:\Program Files\HyperSpin\Hyperspin.exe ?

And so...? If you modified the .bat script in consequence... what happen? What look like your script actually?

This is my bat file

pskill -t XBMC.exe
cd D:\Hyperspin\
Hyperspin.bat
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\"
start /max XBMC.exe

Like i said when i click hyperspin in my advanced launcher xbmc closes but nothing else happens.

Still not starting Hyperspin, i've tested the commands in a command prompt and i get the following.

------------------------------------------------------------------
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\"
start /max XBMC.exe

Result This starts xmbc in full screen
------------------------------------------------------------------------
pskill -t XBMC.exe

Result Kills xbmc
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
cd D:\Hyperspin\
Hyperspin.exe

No Hyperspin starts, I get the following

Result 'Hyperspin.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
Operable program or batch file.

Hyperspin still ain't starting, just don't know why this ain't working.

If i put cd the following in the command promp hyperspin now starts but not from advanced launcher.

D:\Hyperspin\
D:\Hyperspin\Hyperspin.exe
Thanks for all the help but i've sorted that with a bit of script change. I edited my hyperspin bat to the following:

taskkill /F /IM XBMC.exe
HyperSpin.exe

I then went into the hyperspin settings program callied HyperHQ and i could set Xbmc to start from there. I did'nt pay much attention to them settings in HyperHQ before.

Thanks for all your help with this matter Angelscry, your a credit to the site. I've never really used advanced launcher before these past few days. I always exited xbmc when i wanted to play games or used hyperspin but i i'm thinking of having my htpc to just go straight into xbmc now and run all my games and stuff through this.
