Do you know the path address for the xml file on a MAC running Mountain Lion?
The Wiki for 'video node' has it as a question mark.
Thanks again, I will give it a try and report back later!

'fraid not.
luckely we have a osx support section as well ;-)

The recently added (Movies, TV Shows) on the Home screen is remaining empty. How can I fix it? I'm referring to the small section that shows the tree most recently added items per category.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

you probably have to install the skin widgets addon.
it's available in the repo, under 'services'.

Yup, that did the trick. Thanks! Although I needed to download it manually, as the repo seems to be unaccessible from within XBMC.

WHAT A TRULY GREAT SKIN! I really enjoy watching my entertainment through XBMC and your skin makes it even more pleasurable. I found it the most easiest to navigate and set up XBMC.

Now for a minor problem, and I'm not sure if it is skin related or XBMC Frodo related. I have my music set to play on start-up through my playlist and that part works well. I would also like my home screen to be the weather. When I set home screen to weather there is no music. So Right now, I have home screen set to home and after my music has started, I manually go to weather. I think everything worked well on Eden or Dharma, but was lost on the recoding for Frodo. If you could point me to the right area to report this if it is not a skin issue, thanks for your attention.

it's a known issue in xbmc: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/13445
and a proposed fix can be found here: 2022 (PR)

"Totally possible now with a skin. Basically any touch/mouse input would pause fullscreen video and bring up the OSD. Then the area outside of the OSD would be a large transparent play button."

Hmm... Sounds good. I wonder how many use a mouse instead of keyboard or a remote? I use a mouse and soon a finger (when I buy a tablet).
What you say Ronie? Is it possible to include in Transparency!?

any touch/ mouse input brings up the osd, why not use the play/pause buttons available there?
or am i completely missing the point? ;-)

You are right, I'm writing about something far down on the priority list. I can think of other functions that people regard as more important.
But, it enhances the user expirience in a way that's difficult to explain (think Apple vs. Acer, or something similar). Swedish PBS streams it's content online and has this function.
Once you've tried it, you begin to miss it in other softwares that don't have this feature.

All of a sudden TV Tunes is no longer working with the skin. It was working fine and now I do not hear the TV show theme anymore. I've tried uninstall and re-installing it as well as un-enabling it and re-enabling it within the skin settings but it no longer works. I've run out of ideas. Any thoughts?

XBMC froze a couple times here recently and I had to use ctl-alt-del to stop the application. That may have caused the problem. Any ideas on how to get it working again?

last time someone asked, he had the volume muted in xbmc,
so it could be something silly like that ;-)

in case you can't figure it out:
1) enable debug logging in xbmc (settings > system > debugging)
2) restart xbmc
3) browse through your tv shows
4) upload logfile to xbmclogs.com and paste the url here
