I have XBMC working on my ATV2. My roomie remote recognises XBMC on my wired network, when I add it as a device it asks for a username and password, I'm not sure what to enter here.
There is a function to test remote before entering the username and password but the remote doesn't do anything.
Two questions:
1. What username and password should I use?
2. Are there any setting within XBMC I need to change to get it to recognise the roomie commands which are wireless from my iPhone to iTach then wired to router and then to ATV2
Thanks

Navigate to System –> Network –> Services -> Webserver and then check “Allow control of XBMC via HTTP” and in Remote Control “Allow programs on other systems to control XBMC”.

Thanks very much, I'll try it tonight. Any thoughts on the username/password. I've heard it should be xmbc and xmbc or xmbc and blank

Tried changing settings and username and password as suggested. XBMC is still not responding to roomie remote commands. Is there anything else I can try/check
Port # is 8080
Thanks

UPDATE
I was accessing 192.168.0.5:8080 from my iPhone before. Just tried to access from my home PC and it appears to work.
