I just have to thank you for all your hard work on this amazing skin, it is beautiful and super fast, what I've been looking for since i started using xbmc.
I have one bug and one little request if possible. First the bug, when using the Pandora add-on once the visualization starts I cant stop or exit Pandora, I don't have this problem on mq3 or any other skin. As for the request I was wondering if on the glass list view when it just shows the fanart and title if you could make a option to show the clear logo instead of the title in the list. That way it would show only the fanart and then to the left where the the titles are would be logos

Very nice skin, thanks. I have only one problem. I use my home videos and kids videos without library. I put fanart.jpg in the folder. The first time i started the skin, i could see the fanart of each movie. Then i played with the custom settings and the fanart is black. No fanart, not in the non library folders. But also not in the movie and tv series, which are in library mode. Then i reset the skin, The fanart from movie and tvseries are back, but the fanart of the non labray ones, as home videos and kids videos are still black. Changing to AEON NOX the fanart works ok. So any idea what to do about this?
Home videos and Kids videos are favourites which i open from the home screen.

I hope there is a solution, the kids love the fanart of their movies.

Found it as the TV Guide....what I was referring to was within the lists of TV series it would state when the next episode was on if you went into a current series....

I really like Ace, but there is one thing I dislike. (The only skins I now use are ACE, and AEON MQ4)
The only thing that needs changed in my opinion is the TV shows count. I would really appreciate it, if I had an option to show TV episodes watched/unwatched instead of TV shows watched/unwatched. Along with the running total of TV episodes. (Like AEON MQ4 shows!)
I have watched episodes from many TV series, but just one completely.

A feature I would like to see added in an upcoming version would be, If the Watched TV shows were to be clickable, and it would take you to the list of all TV series that have shows being watched. Not sure if I explained that correctly, if not, let me know, and I will try to better explain it.

Hi Marcos, i have yet a couple of things:

- In the fixed list u mentioned "Fixed: Music FullScreen and Extrafanart." Does this mean i get the extrafanart from the artist im listening music from? i still dont get extra fanart from the artist when listening to music, same path set in MQ4 works perfectly just not in Ace.

- Matter of taste perhaps. When listening to music the "next track" section is way to big. Could you implement the option to turn it off or make it smaller (like in MQ4 it was the same size as the RSS feed)

- implement the option to turn of the recently viewed stuff?, i.e. when watching a movie but turning it off half way and standing on main menu ' movie' that it doesnt tell me i watched 50% of a movie and can continue it from main menu. (same goes for music and TV-shows). You had the option to turn it off in MQ4

- TV shows the Wide view can you implement the option where you can enable "show extrafanart" under Art so we dont see an ugly image from a tv episode.

- implement the option to hide library stats in home menu

- implement the option to turn of the blue blinkind dot that has a text next to it i.e. saying 'addon'

- when usising the addon "The Trailer" and with that using the panel view it doesnt give a picture on the right side instead there is a black picture with the ace logo. In MQ4 you would see the poster image of the trailer. could you fix this?

Smart playlist are very easy.
Add all your files to video library (main and kids movies)

Place these files in /userdata/playlist/video
kids.xsp
movies.xsp

Check with GUI how they are made.
(Open Movies Submenu, select Videos, Playlists and edit copy/pasted files or create like described below)

Explanation:
For regular movies i have a playlist Movies with argument path doesnotcontain value kids (my video location has kids in it same like you have)
For kids movies i have a playlist Movies with argument path contains value kids
Add new main menu VPLAYLIST items and disable Movie item

Great work on the skin!

PROS:

1. I love the right-list view. Great design. A nice balance of usability and design.
2. I love how the right-list view is available for every section. This gives the skin a more uniform UI/UX. In contrast, with Aeon MQ4, I was using the low list view, which was unavailable in some sections.
3. I love how the view type is now its own dedicated drop down menu.
4. The collections movie option was either unavailable for Aeon MQ4 or it was available, but difficult to find or use. I discovered for the fit time with Ace. This is a great feature.
5. I like how the IMDB rating has replaced the star rating when scrolling through movie and tv show titles.
6. I love how most of the things that make Aero MQ4 great has also been adopted by Ace! I tried other skins such as Bello and there is just not enough substance there for me to use it as my default skin. But, for now, the Ace skin is good enough to be my default skin.
7. I love the information that is displayed (resolution for videos, similar artists for music, etc.)
8. I love how you can automatically use fanart of your current library as the background instead of having to put together your own set of images.

CONS / CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK (WITH ALL DUE RESPECT):

1. Please have an option to turn off the blue blinking light. I am not sure what the function of this is, but it is distracting and cheesy.
2. Please have an option to remove the furniture/box that has information such as "shutdown" when you hover over EXIT. It would be great if you can disable or enable this furniture/box depending on the menu, in case someone wants to keep the furniture/box for the MOVIES, TV SHOWS, and/or MUSIC menus to see if the media has been watched or unwatched.
3. I am not sure how I feel about the font. It looks good in the right-list view, but does not look good on the home screen for the menu titles. It would be nice if we had the option of something more tasteful and timeless (e.g., Futura, Helvetica Neue, Segoe, Gill Sans, etc.). You should use the font the Bello skin uses. It is easy to read, modern, clean, looks great, etc.
4. The "watched" icon does not look very good. It does not really match the design of the skin.
5. The "furniture" or UI when playing music is mediocre. It is definitely a downgrade from the one for Aeon MQ4.
6. Outside of the right-list view, the UI looks a little busy, not cohesive, and a bit dated. Especially if you are using the widgets. I think it needs less clutter and a more streamlined and modern design. Less is more. Once again, you should look at the Bello skin for some influence on how to have more "white" space.
7. I was hoping the OSD was going to be improved to something more modern and nice than the one for Aeon MQ4, but it was not.
8. I was hoping for new sounds. Maybe something more subtle and "high-end." I have to do some research and see if I can find something for you.
9. There are a few bugs, but seeing how new the skin is, that is to be expected!
