after some more extended use of the new beta4 it seem to be working alot worse than beta 3, Beta 3 almost never crashed/freezed
Sometimes it stops the music after track 2 is finished and jumps back to the playlist from viz and get's stuck in an infinite loop (loading the playlist) (seen it been reported other problems when starting song #2) i have no lyrics on, just artist slide show in Neon, the artist info (key I) is off, exept the few seconds when the track is changed. Need to reboot. (using an ION setup, no rasbPI)
That's strange since I do use Spotimc on an ION board under Openelec, and never noticed that issue. I re-tested with the Neon skin and Artist slideshow enabled, with again, no issues.
Will need to take a look to a log to check what's going on there... Thanks!

Thanks for the log file, but sadly pastebin.com seems to be down this weekend. Will take a look when the link is up again. Thank you!

I have been trying to install on windows 7 frodo 12.1. After I have installed the plugin and launch for the first time I get the following error - LibSpotifyError - Invalid libary version.
Checked FAQ and this thread but can't find any info.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Are you using a custom Spotyxbmc2 build? Both Spotyxbmc2 and Spotimc are known to conflict each other, due to the fact that both use libspotify.

Do you have a donation page somewhere?
Anyway: I am using a Raspberry PI Model B, running raspbmc - spotimc runs fine, just some glitches as audio-dropouts, but i blame my wifi and rather slow RasPi, also it takes up to 25 seconds to show a result list, if i am searching for something. Any way to improve the speed?
You're right, Spotimc is rather slow on the Pi at the moment.
Anyway, for general Raspberry PI speed improvements you could try 1) using a faster (class 6 and above) sd card, or b) installing Raspbmc into an usb drive:

It's premium only. The underlying libspotify lib allows connecting only through premium accounts.
