[RELEASE] Last.fm addon
(2013-07-28, 13:59)MrPez Wrote: Is anyone else still experiencing crashes of xbmc (not just plugin) when listening to last.fm radio? Is there some setting that I've forgotten about? It seems to last quite a while - a good hour or so - and then just gives up!

could you perhaps test it with the latest xbmc nightly build?

a Debug Log of the crash would be welcome too.

thanx mate, those are crashlog from xbmc 12.2
we already know this addon makes xbmc 12.2 crash.

what we're trying to find out is if it still happens with nightly xbmc builds. :-)

Not having much luck with this on 13.0-alpha 6 on my PC.

It seems to just go round in a loop through the menus, so when I select xx's top tracks, it just goes back to the previous menu and doesn't play anything.

you need to click on any of the 'Listen to...' items.

OK, thanks, I'll have another go. Not sure if I tried that, or even saw any Wink
OK, the error I get says "The Webservices API key supplied does not have permission to stream / create new radio trials"

most likely you don't meet one of these criteria:
- you need to have a paid last.fm account
- you need to live in one of the countries where last.fm radio is available
(United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Brazil)

Ah sorry, yeah I don't have a paid account so that explains it.
hey there.

thanks for the plugin bringing back Love / Ban functionality. actually this is the thing... I'm on 0.1.6 and XBMC 12.1 (Win) and "loving tracks" works all good, however scrobbling doesn't work at all. "loved" tracks are immediately visible on my last.fm page, but none of the currently played tracks is added.
any idea?

need to turn back the built-in functionality...

you know what... ignore it or maybe not.
the plugin submission started to work, but only after XBMC was restarted. maybe it's worth mentioning in the 1st post.
thanks again.
