Confluence Modified
Quote:1.1.6

- Fullscreen view
- Support for TVTunes 4.x add-on
- Support for Video Extras add-on
- Coverflow label rework
- Enable coverflow for add-ons (video add-ons is buggy, will fix later)
- Music visualisation: fix visualisation not showing behind extrafanart, show random backgrounds if extrafanart disabled/not available and artist fanart disabled/not available.

I will try to submit the skin to Transifex next, so hold on to your translations.

The Background Customizer in Skin settings shows Addons, PlayDisc, System, Weather, Pictures, Music.
I have only TVShows and System enable on my Home Window.

Can someone tell me why i don't see and option to change TVShows background ?

And thanks for this awesome skin. Best for the rPi. Love it !

Update : edited IncludesBackgroundBuilding.xml and added a new section for CommonTvShowsBackground and it did the trick..

Wonder why it was missing in the first place though...

You have "show fanart backgrounds" on and tv show content in your library. In that case background customiser is disabled because the backgrounds you select won't be visible, "show fanart backgrounds" has a higher priority.

SpaceMonkey, Love the skin! There is only one part of the skin that I think needs improving and that is the live tv section. Now I dont know if you want to even change this since this skin closely follows the original confluence skin but I am in desperate need of a new live tv section.

This is what I would like to see and to be honest, I dont know if its even possible but I thought I would ask. I recently cut the cord from directv but I have to say, out of all the guides I have seen, their epg guide, to me, was very smooth and user friendly. Is there a way to get something along those lines? The closest I have seen that I liked was in the amber skin but it seems the one flaw in all the skins is the way they start up. What I would like to see is to click on live tv and it only go to the epg, once there, any show that you highlight gives a description of the show in the upper section. if you click on it or select it with a remote, it just goes straight to the show without having the menu come up with the description and asking you to switch, record, or ok. To me, that menu should only come up when you actually hit info for that show via context menu or are on a time that is not the current time.

This is the way I would like to see live tv come up( the tv view in the upper corner is not needed) when you select it, without the side bar coming out asking which view you want and all that. Is this something that is even possible?

All the options for SYSTEM are available in the power/shutdown menu.
It would be very nice indeed if we could just "Hide" SYSTEM all together. ( like in back row skin )

A quick and dirty way to remove the SYSTEM from the home screen is to modify the IncludesHomeMenuItems.xml (Worked for me)

Search the file for <item id="5">
Delete that and all the following lines down to and including the next </item>
10 lines in total as pictured
If you do this make sure that "settings" is enabled in the shutdown menu otherwise you wont be able to get into settings without putting the file back to its original state.
Restart xbmc and SYSTEM will be gone .

Hope you do not mind me sharing this.
If there is a problem let me know and I'll remove it.

I will love you forever if you adopt the slightly larger font now used in Gotham Confluence :D

It really hits the sweet spot of "not too big" but much easier to read.

I don't use a keyboard on my setup so not really looked into it but IIRC pressing s on the keyboard will take you straight to the shut down menu and access settings from there. (assuming you have not turned it off in the shutdown menu options)

Hi, is it possible to get an update to fix the problem with downloading subtitles? With normal Confluence, selecting Download from the OSD Subtitles button brings up a side-window which allows you to select and download subs. When pressing Download in Confluence Modified no such side-window appears.
