I am able to manually add items however and once doing so, I'm able to launch them successfully but I would really not have to do this a couple hundred times .Huuu.... What do you mean by manually add items? It seems that you have edited the launchers.xml file manually by yourself without really knowing what you where doing. The launchers.xml file structure is totally messed-up. Most of all the tags are not correctly defined (open/close). Tab indentations are all removed. So that's normal that you obtain an error. Advanced Launcher is not able at all the recognize the file structure.
I've tried the suggestions in the last few posts by rolling back to 2.1.0 and then reinstalling 2.2.0 but still see the issue. I'm running Frodo 12.2 with the Aeon MQ 4 skin on a Win7 x64 machine.
Here are the contents of my launchers.xml file: http://pastebin.com/KWm6c1FE

Adding them by selecting "Manually Add Item" does still work.Post the content of the xbmc.log file after the error message occurs.
After deleting the launchers.xml file it was recreated correctly as far as I can tell http://pastebin.com/uSt2gawD.
Is the addons.py script part of Advanced Launcher?

Edit - This one should be easier to read and have the relevant lines at the bottom of the log: http://pastebin.com/aa943fis

I still received the "Script failed! : addons.py" error at the end of the import but it looks like all of the games were successfully added to the launcher. The error was effectively not critical, linked only to message notification display. For this notification I have forget to indicate how long the notification will be displayed.
I'm not sure how critical the error is since it appears everything still works.
Thanks for the help and thanks for writing such a great program!! Let me know if you would like to troubleshoot the addons.py error any further.
