Looked at the protocols for Android and for the browser and it looks like they changed the protocol. I tried simply changing the UA and it looks like they patched that loophole

is the problem the link or DNS being used in XBMC ?
I would like to try and change DNS on my system but I know ZERO about how to do this
everything I try using online instructions, it says I don't have permission to change it so, I give up on that battle
anyone else try changing dns and see if it works

Hi,

Running two openelec systems both latest versions; having the same issue it goes to play and then just stops after choosing home/away feed. Any info or logs I can provide let me know

I am now , NOT able to get live games going, but archived/condensed do
anyone else having same issue today ? running xbmcbuntu


pulls up live games
click on it
takes about 20-30 secs to pull up away or home prompt
click on either and says working at the bottom and stops

why do they have to keep changing it.......last time I pay for gamecenter. screw them !!

I wonder if they're doing this on purpose... It's not like we're illegally watching the games, we've already paid.

I've confirmed this isn't the case I can watch games via the gamecenter app on the ipad but trying to watch any Live game in openelec/addon doesn't work.

Live games are not working for me either. Allows me to choose Home or Away, then stops. I'm running Openelec on Raspberry Pi.

I have already cancelled my subscription for next year. I have also bitched to neulion support about it and they don't care. its not like they'll report it to nhl

I think even if someone gets this fixed again, it will remain to be something they keep trying to shut down
going to use windows computer to watch games I need now.
as for 'blackout ' restrictions
that is soooo outdated its pathetic. If someone is paying to watch the games, WHY block anyone from seeing any . that is so 80's its pathetic.
besides that, anyone can plug in a multitude of different dns unblockers or proxy etc... and continue to watch games that may be blacked out.
they seem to think the people using the serviced has no idea about how the internet works. Again, we aren't in the 80s/90's anymore

What ticks me off is the default browser app won't stream at 4500 kbps so no HD. I even tried to do airplay via gamecenter app on ipad to xbmc but it only does sound not video.

Edit: found the answer:

The developers of those apps have blocked AirPlay video. Though the default is to allow video streaming, individual developers can make that call for their app. Older apps (before iOS 5) will all do it, as well many released after iOS 5 came out.

Right now the only solution I have is to use my Roku.

Carb0's plugin for XBMC has much better picture quality so I'm hoping he or someone else can figure out what's happened.

As much as this sucks, they had to do something. People were stealing the unprotected streams big time. This addon worked with my non renewed account into late october. Not sure if it would of kept working as I renewed.

Edit: I should add the way xbmc was accessing streams, they could not tell if we were authenticated or not.
