Thanks, Carb0, this looks like a very nice update. I especially appreciate what seems to be a speedier Home/Away selection (at least on the Raspberry Pi). Makes me wonder if perhaps it would now be easier to add the French language feed option for those Montreal/Ottawa streams from RDS? Even if not, this is already a massive step up from the Sony Blu-ray player app I've used as a fallback, which only shows the Home feed.

Live games haven't worked for me yet. It's failing with the following showing up in the log:

I did remove the extra /etc/hosts entry, and I'm a little stumped. Any suggestions?

Are you using XBMC Gotham? Live games don't work in Frodo.

Unfortunately, version 0.6 is not working for me. I've tried it on my linux box, my pi, and also on my hackintosh. No dice. I've removed the additional line from my hosts file on all three. Same behavior as before. It looks like it's gonna load the game and then just stops.

Log from the pi is here. I can post logs from the others if you think that'll help.

No, I'm not using Gotham; at the moment I'm running XBMC 12.2 on XBian 1.0Beta1.1 on a Raspberry Pi. I get essentially the same error on XBMC 12.0-RC3 on a debian machine. This add-on has worked on each of these setups in the past, up to the 0.5.6 version with the /etc/hosts fix.

Lol, that makes a difference. Ok, I'll see about updating to Gotham on at least one of my systems and give it another go. Thanks again for your hard work.

I have found that using the new hosts file edit and jar file fix from the reddit thread does allow your plugin to work under Frodo on my linux box, so there's a workaround for anyone else in similar circumstance.

I think Gotham makes the updated plugin work because there's the ability to spoof the user agent.

I am running 13.0-alpha Git:20130227 in windows 8.1 . I have updated NHL Gamecenter addon, and deleted the line for the hosts file. rebooted, but still when I try either home or away links for live games, it starts to load and then just stops. No error message or anything. It just stops loading.

Can you post a log? I've been watching games for more than 2 hours without issues.

Here's a version of the add-on that works on Frodo. The fix for Frodo is very unreliable and I won't support this version of the add-on:

Yes. I tested it on OSX Mavericks and Windows 7 64bit. Linux should work too.
