your file makes my screen black. I only see the mousepointer in xbmc when I use it :/

I have installed the latest version of Aeon Nox from git
but I get no live dvd cases with my playlists
I have the setting made at
System > Settings > Skin > Customizers > Customize > Main menu item customizer
Choose background -> Live DVD cases -> Select one of the smart playlists just defined in set above.
But the cases are blank!
What am I doing wrong?

You have to install random and last items script :

In addition to this ^^^ question, I'd like to know how to use movie sets with this skin. I haven't found an option to toggle for that.

Go to "System" then "Video" Then under "Library" Make sure the toggle next to "Group movies in sets" is to the "right". Here is a short video to guide you. http://youtu.be/WKZx2pij0fA?hd=1 You don't have to switch the toggle back and forth multiple times. I did it to show where it was. Hope this helps./

Does anyone have a resolution to "Installation Failed" of the latest version? I'm trying to install it from USB and unsuccessful.

If someone could give me the GIT command, etc, for OE that would be a great help, thanks!

hi

when you are playing a movie or tv show and press "i" or just paused it, you can see the poster and, over 2 or 3 seconds, it rotate to show you the plot. How can I avoid it? I want to see only the poster.

Just replace your "includes.xml" in your 1080 folder with this one includes.xml

are you view your file? i think is not a xml... can you open the file and review it pls?

The only problem I have now is that it applied Thor clearart and logos to most of the sets. So, I have to figure out how to manually correct that. Everything insidr the sets is correct however. Hitting "i" on the set does nothing, as that only works once I'm actually inside a set.

Hi everyone,

Having a weird issue lately with Aeon Nox Gotham 4.1.9.9 where TvTunes is not working.

Have TvTunes installed, Aeon Nox Gotham 4 is displaying YES under settings -> appearance -> skin settings -> customizers, but when I go into a TV Show, I don't hear the theme...

It is working in other themes, like Aeon Nox 5 and I have verified that I have the tv show theme in the TV Show folder with the episodes...

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Did you set up a widget for the menu based on smart playlist ? Because I think that live bg use properties set for widgets. Need to test this tomorrow morning (gmt+1)

Hi try hitting "c" key whilst on the set and then manage then choose art i think it is

there's a minor animation glitch, maybe you can have a look.
Albums (SHIFT view), then Songs (LowList view), there is a 1 sec. animation of unused labels, i manage to capture the flashing labels here:

Is there any benefit to naming files one way or another? For example:

Everybody's Fine (2009) (BluRay).mkv

vs.

Everybody's.Fine.2009.BluRay.mkv

Does it make any difference?

Also, if a movie name has a colon in it, is it better to just have a space, or should it be replaced with a different character, like - or something?

Example:

name of title in TMDB:
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

name of file:
Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980).mkv
or
Star Wars - Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980).mkv
or
Star.Wars.Episode.V.The Empire.Strikes.Back.1980.mkv

Seems to scrape either way, is that all that matters?
I guess in this instance, using the "dot" naming scheme simplifies things a little since you just omit any character other than letters and numbers.

On some shows it looks very weird at as some of the posters also have the logo. P.S. I am using the latest git.

check your Floor label option
left or up depending on the view , and viewtype settings / floor label: play with it until the year show
