[OLD/CLOSED] PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution
Just wanted to praise Luna for an awesome plugin. Sometimes it's needed to be heard at times to a developer to let them know that there's some of us who appreciate his time and work. Especially for a free plugin! I'm here to offer any help that I can. Am computer/tech savy and looking forward to contributing where I can. Coming from a fellow "Luna". Wink

Is there any current or upcoming options to display only the guide and not the video in the background?

there isn't supposed to be a video in the background! looks like you messed up somewhere when installing the videopatcher.

The same file loads correctly in PVR and Twinthers TV Guide. I looked through the settings of PTVL for some sort of offset but couldn't find anything. Am I being stupid and missing something really basic, or will I need to run an XMLTV file with a five hour offset for it to work in PTVL? Thanks mate.

Is your xmltv using UTC or local time ?

Also before we look into the xmltv being the problem. Have you tried force resetting the channel. This should put everything back in sync. If not its the xmltv time... Easy fix.

Done a force channel reset and still no change. Decided to delete my xmltv file and re-run WebGrab+ with nothing changed in the files, and now the guide tihnks it's Monday morning. Now, again, I just loaded the same .xml file into TV Guide and it loads correctly. For the life of me I can't figure this out.

EDIT: As I said before I'm using UTC.

2ND EDIT: Thinking on it, it's the same config that I sent you for WG+ the other day, Luna.

3RD EDIT: On further investigating I noticed that when I bring the info up on a channel that is playing, it shows the info for the correct show that is on at the time. However, the EPG remains to be out (now, somehow, I'm three hours behind the real EPG. It's like it's randomly choosing how off it wants to be).
Hey Luna,

Wondering if you can point me in the right direction on a bug I'm trying to fix. I've autotuned USTVNOW channels and the wrong channel id is being stuffed into settings2.xml for a few of the channels. The "wrong" id is a valid id for another channel and this particular id is assigned to multiple channels which makes the program lineup in the EPG appear to the be same for all of these channels.
I manually updated my settings2.xml with the correct IDs from ustvnow.xml thinking this would solve the issue, but as soon as I rebuilt the guide to correct the bad EPG, something overwrote my manual changes in settings2.xml and reverted the IDs back to the wrong one for the affected channels.
So, "I11207102.labs.zap2it.com" is the ID in question, that is assigned to only one channel in my ustvnow.xml file (USA network), but that ID is being assigned to multiple channels in settings2.xml. Make sense? Anyone else seeing this issue? Running latest stable release on Amazon FireTV and OSX. Seeing this on both platforms.

EDIT: I cleared cache, and manually deleted the cache folder in the addon_data folder but no luck. Lots of XBMC restarts in between as well.

run development build

No difference Luna. I get the same issue. I've tried running XBMC in Admin Mode and that didn't change anything either.

Nothing is changed. I'm not sure I'm running it in Developmental branch correctly, though. The only thing that mentioned 'developmental' was the 'AutoUpdate Version' which I set to 'Development - Latest'. Is that right?

then you should get a prompt to download latest code, which is version 0.5.2b

I got no prompt. I'll re-start XBMC and try again. Sorry about being such an idiot with all this, my friend.

EDIT: Still no prompt,

Yeah, of course, lol it loaded straight into the last channel. I came out, double checked the settings, and it is set to development - latest still.

0.5.1, but I just manually downloaded the developmental branch, let it run, exit, forced channel restart, no change. Switched back to stable version, forced change channels, still the guide is out. Maybe I'm cursed lol
