Installed this on the Minix X8-H 9-2 beta firmware and all i got was black picture and sound.
Is this a problem with kodi or the beta 9-2?

I have this on all videos and streaming.
I can se the picture moving in the corner, it´s like a big square in front of the movie

If I disable amcodec picture is back but choppy, sound is good..
Is there a way to fix this or shuld I just wait for beta 2 or go nightly?

I've installed Kodi Helix Beta on my X8-H and my only problem is that I can't get IPTV simpleclient to work.
As it didn't with the alpha versions but only with Gotham I will wait to see if others have the same problem.
Video is fine and all settings have transferred over to the new install.

I have the same problem with ip simple client, strange that you have picture with amcodec activated and I don´t.

I've installed Kodi Helix Beta, but it will not start, writes only: "waiting for external storage".

I can partially confirm this problem on Tronsmart Vega S89 (almost the same as Minix X8-H).

1. When you watch Live TV with IPTV Simple client on Kodi beta1 channel preview position is not centered if you zap to channel (stream) encoded with h264, but mpeg2 is ok. The same behaviour was on Kodi 14 alpha 4 and 5. Kodi alpha 3 was ok.

2. And later it gets worse. When you continue switching some more channels encoded with h264 after that you'll get only audio and black screen.

I have managed to get IPTV simpleclient to work. I've used a different e3u provider (BBTS)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDNUm12VgJQ and this works.Previously I was using Husham, vdubt25 (http://youtu.be/dXs_m3pYGLk) which worked on Gotham.It appears to load up with channels and epg but fails to activate Live TV.
Don't particularly like the BBTS as it has too many channels and no epg ( I think ).
Just noticed that they have changed the General URL with xty.me, will give this a go

Installed yesterday on my Fire TV and find that FilmOn in particular suffers from excessive buffering. Didn't have this problem with Alpas and I am also running the alternative that has just come out, switched to that and no buffering at all.

I just heard that this is a firmware issu with Minix X8 beta 9-2 and it will be fixed in th next update.

I'm using the stock firmware with my Minix X6_H.
BBTS does have an epg and you can view only the channels you are interested in and also add to favourites. The epg took a long time to download.
Had no luck with xty.me ( Xunity? ).

Just installed Beta 1 on my HP touchpad to replace Alpha 2 which ran perfectly.

Beta 1 does not start. I get a blank screen then back to the Android home screen. Went back to Alpha 2 and all is well.
