On the download page of the dev builds stands

* XBMCbuntu needs a manual update to 14.0 alphas/betas, which are now available on the Ubuntu nightlies-PPA. This ISO is not compatible with EFI, only with BIOS.

What exactly should i do now if i want to update?

sudo apt-get install xbmc

i´ve tried both now "apt-get install xbmc and kodi"

got it working now.... forgot to add the nightly repository
