Have made a new Intel Nuc build with Windows 8 and Kodi.
When I try to use this plugin every thing seams fine until I hit play on a movie or series, first Kodi disappears showing the desktop and after a while Chrome opens and showing the Viaplay interface and as a final Chrome goes in to kioskmode but no auto-play of movie or series.

What happens when Crome goes into fullscreen?
You need to manually login to the Viaplay website from Chrome (one time before using the addon) this so the autologin works.

The login is working like à scharm, when Viaplay gets to fullscreen I have to select the movie again and press play. It dosens auto start the movieConfused

It's not possible to autostart playback on Linux. Because of some changes made by Viaplay.
Unfortunately you need to press Play yourself...

It's no problem Smile
Do you have any AutoHotKey script running on your PC, if you have these could interfere with the AutoHotKey script used by the addon (to autostart etc)?

I have the same problem, no autostart of the movie, I need to press the play button in the web browser.to start the movie. I'm using XBMC 13.3 version and have no AutoHotKey script running what i am aware of. I do have XBMClauncher installed and i am not sure if that tool starts any AutoHotKey script.

If you are running on Windows you should have a precompiled AutoHotKey script running, it's called MceRemoteHandler.exe.
The script is started at the same time as the addon launches Chrome. Please check your running processes to see if the script is started.

Try changing your audio settings from wasapi to directsound and then try again.
That worked for me in Gotham. I have not tried this plugin on Helix yet.

I'm not sure what the problem could be, but send me your kodi.log file via a PM, and I'll take a look.

Ok. I will quote myself here.
Just installed this plugin on my kodi 14 (helix) setup.
If you change to first audio option to Directsound under system/system/audio settings the plugin works fine.
Tested with sports/movies/tv-series and children sections and all plays well.

I am using windows 7 and windows 8.1. Works on both.

This didn't work for me, had to do it the hard-way and re-install Kodi and the Viaplay plugin but now everything works.
Probably some thing that didn't went well with the first installation of Kodi.

Windows 8.1, Kodi 14.1 helix.

Directsound or wasapi sound settings same issue.

Video don't start when selected. I have to manually press play (>) in the browser. And then, when I press stop or back on my remote I can't get back to Kodi.

You could try pressing x to stop playback and get back to Kodi.
I just upgraded my htpc to Windows 8.1 and will test this again on this machine.

Im using a mce remote. Why not just make the stop or back Button return to kodi?

The addon should have full support for the MCE remote on Windows.
Which includes both Stop and Back buttons on the remote, but for some reason these have stopped working.
In the meantime, until i sort this out, you could use x since this key is still working.
