I saw that this version of the CCM skin has a very good introductory video called KODI-Intro-Video.mkv.

Is there any source for a higher resolution (let's say 1080p) of it? Actually is something aroung 640x360 at 3.3 Mbps.

I used "TexturePacker" to create the gray.xbt file and put the file in the textures folder. gray theme
Here is the gray color xml file (put in the colors folder) gray.xml



As you can see by the picture of the homescreen, I like a simple, muted theme. Help yourself to any of these.

I just noticed that the menu bar hops up to the center of the screen when I start playing music, or maybe it just seems that way because the floor bar disappears...

I got it from xbmcwayist - Post #69. So he'd have to answer that one.

I'm not at home so this is from memory, to stop the panning edit your guisettings.xml and look for a setting called "NoAnimateFanart" or similar in the ccm.helix strings, it should be set as "false" change it to "true" and restart Kodi. Hopefully that should do it, if not I'll look tonight.

If anyone likes it - another!! setting can go in to allow it to disappear or not even show at all - you guys tell me, but on my machine I think I'll keep the floor up continueously.

This week it'll just be little things code wise, next week we'll get some of the more demanding scripts working

Hi everyone I'm a newbie to kodi and have been following the ccm skin since I started. Can someone please explain how to make the big wigets appear for random movies or recently watched? It's just looks cool and I can only seem to get the addon widget set to work on my skin. Do I need to have a movie library or will it work with just the movie adding? Any help would be appreciated

The widgets run off your Kodi library so you need to add all your movies, tvshows etc and scan them into the library. Lots of threads on how to do that or the Wiki.

Once that's done you can set what you want to see from the Skin Settings window.

However since the last version the black bar under the menu/submenu and also under the widgets just disapear. Even under the option in the parameter menu. It's now very difficult for the navigation

Additionnaly I was thinking about the possibility of widgets for playlist with only the movies/TV show related to the ones in the playlist.

If you're talking about the floor as the black bar under menu, yes I know about that. - will fix it
