Any posts about "Black" backgrounds - please be running v3.0.6 just uploaded. I thinkthe backgrounds are fixed now and want to hear of any problems, but the backgrounds as you can imagine are complex in trying to work out what's on the screen due to having a customisable menu. I don't want to fiddle there unless it's related to v3.0.6 or later.

Just noticed something odd. I assume this happened at noon when AM changed to PM. Tried going to screens which don't show the clock and back again, including starting media playback, to no avail. A reboot took care of it.

Anyway think it's a kodi issue as I use the system.time label.

That's odd, I can still see my post about it. Any road, yes, in light of your comment it is likely a Kodi glitch. I only started using Kodi a day or so before I ran into this fine thread, so I hadn't see this before. Trivial at best.

Re: To-Do List. Happy to help. I'll pull an updated list together shortly and update regularly. I'll add items whenever they seem like valid bugs or strong enhancements (notwithstanding the core desire to stay close to Confluence out of the box) but only remove them on your say-so.

When I enter my Tv shows through Videoes/Files I have this problem from post# 407 with black backgrounds

Love the mod. Is it possible to have a fanart.jpg in an album folder and for that to show as the background like when you are in movies or tv folder.

I have a lot of Soundtracks and would rather have a fanart image that I put there when the album is playing rather than an artist as it doesn't really suit soundtracks.

Hate to sound like a total noob here, but...

I've installed this skin on a OUYA and Windows Laptop running Win8. I've been following this thread from the beginning and decided it was time to try it out. Problem is... I have no shortcuts? I've set them in the settings, but nothing shows up. I havn;t made many changes to the settings otherwise.

I downloaded and installed the skin via Hybrid repo. Not sure how to tell which version I'm on.

Welcome to the forums, Problem is I don't have a OUYA or Win8 to check for you. I've had problems with both of those in the past, so if anyone has any ideas feel free to jump in.

As a starting point could you try to post a copy of your "guisettings.xml" file. We should be able to at least check the initial settings were created.

Also just to check - when you say shortcuts we talking about the addons placed on your home screen?

We are talking about the addons shortcuts on the home screen IE: under Video you would have 1channel, Genesis...

I just reinstyalled Kodi on my Win7 pc and same thing. Under the skin settings, add-on shortcuts, I placed a different shortcut under each of the 12 user sections. Closed it, reloaded and still nothing.

oh, and what's the best way to post my guisettings.xml file? appologies for my noobiness again!

You can get it from kodi addons services or copy it from another install if its there. I don't know why it doesn't install with the skin as it is listed in the requires.

Note that I've implemented a Category/Item system. The Categories (A, B etc) will stay consistent and the Items (1, 2, 3 etc) will retain their numbers even after they have been resolved/implemented. This is in case an issue returns after it had previously been thought resolved. Hopefully this will save some folks a bit of typing as they can refer to existing topics as "C2" or "F1". Also note that the items marked in GREEN are resolved/implemented and ones in BLUE are thought to be resolved, just waiting on feedback for confirmation.

Mudislander - anything I add to the list without your prior approval or requesting me to add (based on me keeping an eye on incoming posts) will not be assigned a number and will be marked as RED until you accept them onto the list. Found it, Sorry didn't check properly - it even confused my bracket checker. Anyway fixed on Git & will be in next update.
