So the one you want - is "Enable Video Artwork on OSD" enabled and the others off. That should give you all info on "i" but only menu on "m"

I'm looking at the fader right now, also the seekbar doesn't slide properly when no artwork so misrepresents video position, will look into buffer cache colour tomorrow. probably could also centralise menu buttons a bit better.

Now that I understand which option caused it and the reason behind it, I don't mind it either way. It does look cleaner like that, I think it was just the missing black shading that threw me off. That and the seek bar colors and function are the only real problems. Thanks.

Think that's all fixed now for next update, let me know if it's not as there is so many possibilities I don't always catch them - the default Confluence popup also weighs into the decision.

ATM Just trying to chase down the mouse and scrollbar issue - which is driving me nuts. Then will probably release a bugfix update.

Skin settings>Sub Menu Choice>
Make some changes to any submenu...add something to one
Go out of skin settings
check for it to be present, the change you made
Now go back and hide that same one and use the X button on the pop out and on the skin settings menu to back out of skin settings
The pop out for the options keeps jumping out when you try to use the X to exit skin settings....BUT there seems to be some combination I haven't pinned down yet so it may take several attempts to get this to happen...it's intermittent. Seems like Hide Item option might be involved...

Tried to follow your procedure ( Can I repeat - How do you use a mouse? ) anyway, first query I've got when hiding the submenu you previously made - you use "hide item" - the side blade (popout) then it closes automatically, but sometimes pops backout when you're using the X to exit skin settings?

Ha OK - I agree the bottom shade should be there, but that's what the "Enable Video OSD Information on Pause" toggle turns off - Video Info eg: thumbnail,title & codec. Believe it or not some guys don't like all that stuff showing

I found this annoying also and just came here to post about this.

I don't want the bottom area showing when I pause, but I want the shade behind the bottom OSD when I hit the menu button, because it's tough to read otherwise. Would love it to be configured separately.

Yep that's what I meant

Also fixed the scrollbar "rodent" problem - b*strd bug must have been living in Hybrid for ages - it was the Lowlist view scroll bar hiding behind every thing and stealing the mouse focus. Users can test by going to any of the views where the mouse doesn't work on the scroll bar and grab it with the mouse - then move it up and down to the approx. measurements of the lowlist scrollbar - Had me well confussed!!!

Few new settings [WIP]
1. Allow file sys search for Additional Artwork - ATM only for logo's on MediaInfoView3 - if logo's aren't showing, try enabling it. (If already showing - don't bother) If it works for enough users we can push it further.
2. User Video OSD Button - ATM can toggle between "Hidden" and "Aspect Ratio" as per request. We should be able to add a few more selections - depending on what's requested and if possible. eg: go home or to playlist etc

I just checked the mouse issue I was having with clicking and grabbing the scroll bar and it's working properly now. Thank you very much for fixing this! I really appreciate it.

I did have a problem updating to 3.0.10 though. The first time I attempted to do it by clicking on "Check for Update" my screen went totally black and I had to kill Kodi. When I restarted, my skin looked like it had been reset to default Confluence although it said "None" in my settings. Trying to install again resulted in an error saying installation failed. When I checked my logs I was getting this error:

ERROR: XFILE::CFile:elete - Error deleting file special://home/addons/skin.ccm.helix/media/Textures.xbt

When I tried to manually delete the file Windows reported that it was open in Java so I killed the Java process and then deleted Textures.xbt and was able to successfully reinstall CCM. I'm not sure if this is just something related to my setup but thought I would mention it in case anyone else has the same problem.

Yeah it's really hard to reproduce it but there seems to be some combination that occurs and bam, you go to exit the settings menu, because the pop out already popped back in, you click on X to exit settings and it comes back out. Not sure but it seems like it's happening if you enter the skin Settings from a sub menu. I have SYSTEM on the home bar, I have a Sub Menu for System for Skin Settings..from there it seems to happen more so than from Settings>Appearance>Skin.

Updating a skin while you are using it, does tend to give you a black screen. Normally you can wait it out, but as your OS is trying to delete something in use - it's possible for problems. I always prefer to switch back to Confluence while I update my skin of choice.

On the side I see the OSD info is still popping up with system notices - thought I'd looked at that, but obviously not - next time

Mudislander, noticed a small bug tonight. While the working animation is spinning in the top right corner, updated notices and addon library updates in the top left corner are partially pushed off screen to the left. I did not manage to grab a screen capture of it though will try to get one.

You did say Transparency! worked for you ? so you actually have "logo.png" in your movie folders. Which brings up the point - How do you store your movies - separate folders or some otherway?
