Anyone else finding PIA too slow to play these streams smoothly? I've used it both on the PC & Pi and experience significant buffering. I'm on a 20Mb line, which I've seen download upto 2.5MBps, so that should be fast enough to stream even the 1080p streams, right?

Yep I found PIA way too slow at times so I went with Smart DNS Proxy. I'm getting my full broadband speeds of around 80Mbps with them (Ireland -> USA). Smart DNS are quite cheap also - I signed up for 2 years costing me $35 (I joined for the free trial and they sent me a 70% off offer by email).

It was the other way round for me. Smart DNS buffered too much, PIA works perfect on my PI2. Does anyone know what user agent the pi uses on openelec?

I use Openelec on my android mx2 box and I use metalkettle's PIA plugin and it works so smooth.

I use it yes and never had a problem with it.

I use their official app for PCs, but on the Pi I use OpenVPN. As I say, they suffer buffering on both.

Hi all new to forum so please be nice. Question for you all I have installed the NBC update 0.0.8 and it plays ok for about 20 seconds then cuts off does anybody no why please help?

Am I right in thinking from the above that the PIA addon that's been mentioned is only for OpenElec and not Windows?

You should be on version 1.0.0, see post #572 above.

I am version 1.0.0 and same problem plays for about 20 sec then crashs

hey all, firstly massive kudos to everyone involved in supporting this.

only been using kodi/xbmc a couple months and NBC Sports Live Extra has been a superb app to use!!

Was on v0.0.7 (+ fix patch for script error) and it was working great till today noticed buffering (last played fine 2w ago during the last prem league round).

Constant buffering either the live golf channel or liverpool arsenal.

Just updated to version 1.0.0 (from: https://github.com/eracknaphobia/plugin....master.zip) but no difference

The app plays fine on my android/ipad (with cable logon). Any ideas why?

Try re-installing or re-booting or perhaps lowering your stream settings. Im watching the Liverpool match with no problems on either stream using the 2200Kbs HD setting, my internet is 7mb and using Smart DNS

Using PIA, updated to 1.0.0, stream just cuts out after 17 seconds! Reinstalled, rebooted, lowered quality. ..help!
