Hi from Germany,
i installed Kodi to Stream my DVBViewer Recordings, Movies and LiveTV.
BUT i have a big Problem with the Sound...
It has dropouts... every few seconds its mutet or makes for a second the SPDIF Sound (the terrible thing you here if you say SPDIF used but its a analog audio speaker).
I activatet direct output and set it to 2.0 ... Reciver says DD but then the Problem comes...
Audio recives it over an Optical digital cable from TV. Amazon Instand Video Movies works fine, even in DD5.1 but the FireTV Streams with AC3 Audio has the Audio Problems![Sad Sad](https://forum.kodi.tv/images/smilies/frown.png)
Even in SPMC, and KODI Version 14 and 15...
Streaming on PC says about 5-9Mbit/s so i think there is enough space (maximum seems to be at 11MBit/s on the 2.4G network)
Local Streaming on PC with PC Version of KODI = no Problems.
It's useless for me on the FireTV Stick or i dont have DD Sound...
PS: oh btw...RTSP is needed in the Settings or the video have even dropouts/slow framerate
