biostar J1900NH2 not seeing hdd in filemanger

Anyone else using the biostar J1900NH2 motherboard and cpu and struggling to see the internal harddiscs ?

os level or bios level, my mb and celeron combo are ok.

did u maybe get a faulty port on either of the sata port

i can see in bios no problem

i have two machines both new set ups im building same spec mboard ,, same issue

just to shed some light maybe ..

i have tried the same hdd in a external bay connected with a usb and its see's it straight away no problems

yup a rev 6 version board, you have anothe hdd u can test in the sata port?

i have tried 2 that i cloned will test another on the sata port , but happy to know that the same board for sure works Smile

When you say cloned do you mean the OS, (from a prior install on the J1900NH2 board or another PC?)
Have you tried just a normal drive then install OS (I have openelec running fine from USB stick, frees up the two sata ports for hdd storage)

sorry i meant cloned the hdd files the movies / tv shows

i am also running the OS on a usb , at the moment i am just trying to re format my hdd to ext3 they currently are ntfs witch apparently is not auto mount like the usb ntfs

are yours ext3 ?

I have mine in NTFS, didn't need to covert the file system and works fine, (1 x 3TB, 1 x 2TB HDD)
