[OLD/CLOSED] PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution
For USTVNow you could always download and run WebGrab+ on your server on a schedule. There is now also a dedicated USTVNow set up for it, here: http://www.webgrabplus.com/sites/default...ow.com.zip (@Lunatixz is this of interest to you, by the way?).

Documentation on how to use WebGrab+, which is really extremely simple to use, can be found here: http://www.webgrabplus.com/documentation

Try changing your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4 and let me know. Adding this to the faq when I get home.

that is my current DNS

I switched to OpenDNS the first time it stopped working
and now on Google DNS

it's not a problem on my end and nothing I change helps...
This is getting off topic... I posted instructions how to fix the issue, further networking help can be found on the net. Thanks

Um.... I don't think you understand....

The problem is not anything I can fix....
it isn't on my end...

I have ran traceroutes from many different locations and MOST timeout when trying to connect to Pseudotvlive.com

also fails to connect (or even ping) the ip address directly bypassing any use of any DNS

so changing DNS has no effect on solving the problem.

I am sure I am not the only one with this issue...

it was random before... but I knew that everytime it fails to activate donor then I could be sure that entering "www.pseudotvlive.com" into my browser would time out.

but Now it is constant...

I tried everything you and bry suggested and even looked into this much further than I care to...

if you choose to believe that this is OFF-Topic then so be it

But this has NOTHING to do with my DNS settings.

Sure it does, lol... DNS resolves network addresses.

My server isn't down, and although I haven't found why there is an issue with some ppl, including myself when connecting to the site...
I can assure you that the server is up, and you can certainly fix the issue and get it working on your end.

You can begin by following the instructions posted here : http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2018425

If you are running a router or managed switch between your modem... and need further proof it can be fixed on your end... just connect your PC directly to the modem.
www.pseudotvlive.com should load fine...

OK....

First of all.... I must admit I know enough about Networking to get me into trouble so you are probably right...LOL

I know a TON about computers but Networking has always been hit or Miss...

I have always been told that if I knew the IP address of the website and entered the numbers instead of the "name.com" then it bypassed the DNS (Domain Name System)
But that could be wrongHuh

Also, I must admit I didn't follow the suggestion to clone the MAC address...
Because that seemed to fix it (for nowHuh?)

although I would love an explanation on why that would matter for only pseudotvlive.com

anyway, you are right this is probably off-topic.

Thanks
and as always....you are awesome!!!

PS. Next release should be equally as awesome!!!! favorites yeah!!!

No problem... at least you are benefiting from instructions... I had to figure this out on my own (was pulling the hair out of my head)...
Changing the MAC was the last thing I thought of and it worked... My conclusion is that its an issue with the routers iptables. Why? I don't know...

My server guy is looking into it... but we are a minority, most users have no problems connecting...

BTW: Changelog preview, to hold u over til friday's release.

Hi all,
I'm using channel sharing and I'm having an issue. I have a master and and 3 slaves. With the master I used path substitution to substitute PseudoTV Live folder for a folder on my server. PTVL runs can creates the settings2.xml as it should. I then added a custom playlist through channel manager. Again all works fine on the master. When I set up the slaves everything works except that custom playlist and the recent movies/shows are not in the channel list. Its on the master why isn't it on the slaves?

4 FireTVs
Kodi 14.2
PTVL 0.6.2a

Thanks,
BlueKalel
@Lunatixz
I downloaded your repo from Githug. It seems it isn't working with Isenguard. I get "wrong configuration" (or something to that effect) when I try and install the repo so I can't install any addons. Is it just me or if it isn't just me, is there any plan to update it so it works?

Is there a fix for when I'm switch channels the channel I'm switching to media resets. Meaning the guide shows the movie is half way over but when I turn to that channel the movie starts over.... or the tv show starts over.

Any help would be appreciated

I have the same problem :-P
Version 0.6.2a is showing as incompatible or has been marked broken in repository. IS there a different repository I should be looking at?

[Never mind. I now have 0.6.2b - same message though. What dependencies need to be met? I have the ones listed on first page]

For anyone that's not able to access the psuedotvlive website, try resetting your router back to its factory settings. I had the same issue for over a week and I followed all of the steps that Luna listed and still couldn't get it work. Resetting my router (Belkin) was the only thing that worked for me.

ANYWAY, the new update is freaking amazing and I love the guide's new look! Thanks Luna!
Brevity should never equate to rudeness.

I'm having the same problem. I see the Repository dated 2015-06-02. I download it. I see the PseudoTV Live - Update. I try to install it and I get the dependencies error.

My Pseudotv Live 0.6.2a stays put, but keeps asking me to update to 0.6.2b. Whenever the update seems to happen, it is a flash of pop-ups and messages I have no time to read and then all goes quiet and my 0.6.2a starts up.

I guess I'll have to wait until the post explaining a fix on this happens, just like the 0.6.2a update...
