Can you please check your connection...some how https isn't working...and did you installed some banned add-ons (wiki) before? You have realy strange URL calls in the log. For the next debug log (wiki) please activate the debug level.

Been a while since I had to stop by, mainly because to addon works so well for me. I do have one request.
After doing a fresh install I was a little annoyed that my watched status is not saved anywhere. Would it be possible to get some sort of export option so that I can restore the watched indicators after a fresh install?

No solution I would know of. The watched status is based on the Watched history of YouTube...so if you clear/delete the history, the watched status is also gone. But YouTube's API doesn't provide anything to know if you watched a video. I would have to do it all by my self and locally in the addon, which I won't.

If I may ask, why do you need the watched status for?

Sorry for lateness of my reply. My PC has been unhooked for a few days. I just like to know what videos have been watched because it makes watching through large playlists on some users' channels so much easier, especially if you watch them out of order.
I guess in the future I could just save the settings folder to copy over once I do a fresh install. That should save the history, right?

Watch and Resume status for videos from all addons including YouTube get saved in the MyVideos90.db for Helix as far as I am aware. If you are using a mySQL setup they are even syncd across all of your devices. This works for me with YouTube and other addons, so its totally fantastic!

Ive just been having this conversation over on the emby forum, because although their server would be a great replacement for mySQL, with many more features, it doesnt seem to perform this basic and necessary function for users with multiple devices.

Short answer for you dkplayaclub is that you should be able to backup and restore your MyVideos90.db file.

Today I reinstalled Kodi through kodibuntu instead of installing it on top of ubuntu 4.10

However, when signing into my youtube channel with the youtube add-on, I am signed in into my default youtube channel.

I have two channels, one old channel which I use for everything. And one newer channel which was created by google to connect to google+ and stuff like that.

When I log-in into my youtube account, you have to go to youtube.com/activate to fill in a code, twice.
When redirected to that page I see two channels I can choose from.
But when I choose the old channel, and fill in the codes, Kodi shows me the result of the newer youtube channel.

It feels like youtube API is returning the wrong information when entering the codes, but I'm not sure.
I thought I ask here first.

Reinstall the addon. Somehow you're missing a file. I tested the update on 3 devices - no problems at all.

Keep your accounts in order. Your old YouTube channel/account must be connected to G+ too. That's how APIv3 works today.

I’m watching movies over Genesis add on, Vimo, with the Kodi with no problems.
I also able to see YouTube videos with the YouTube App (not over the Kodi).

I’ve notice though, I can’t access the www.youtube.com/activate site from my Android box.
Is it relate somehow?
I also noticed that the bromix YouTube add-on has been updated to 5.1.6 (without the beta 6)

Sorry, no support with banned add-ons (wiki) and you mentioned one. I don't know the side-effects of these crap addons and I don't care. It's illegal!

Is this a known issue, or another situation related to the google api?
