Linux ChromeBox Kodi E-Z Setup Script (LibreELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2017/02/21]
5.95.3 is quite stable, I don't have any reservations recommending it

Is there any fix for the suspend issue in sight?
This would be really helpful for a lot of users including me.

no, as I said before it's an issue with the stock firmware's use of the TPM chip. You might be able to disable its use via a kernel command line parameter (like I do for ubuntu) but I've had no success in the limited effort I've put towards it.

never seen that before, but I'd just reinstall OpenELEC (or whatever OS you are wanting to run)

create fresh install media. don't use a DP->HDMI adapter if using one

that says you're booting from hard disk, and the text below corroborates that (it's trying to boot ChromeOS via legacy boot, which doesn't work).

Either way, instructions for downloading/creating the OE install media are on OE's site, and linked directly from the ChromeBox wiki page.

You didn't create the install media correctly it would appear

I created the the instal media again and now got it working. I appreciate all the assistance you have given. I remember seeing a gmail for "donations" somewhere on the install where can I access this to donate? also is there a way to access "google apps" on the dual boot version of the Chromebox? Thanks again for all your help

My Gmail address is at the top of the script, and also shown on the screen shot in the first post.

Not sure what you are asking w/r/t Google Apps - they work normally under a dual boot ChromeOS setup. OpenELEC is literally just enough Linux to run Kodi, and doesn't support much besides Kodi add-ons
