Also on AFTV. For me everything is working without turning it off. My setup is very lightweight though. Cinema Intro, 1x Trailer, Audio Format Bumper, Feature. Bumpers are mp4 files.

Just had one minor issue. Although I'm using Artic Zephyr no buttons showed up. Added them myself and now everything is working as I want it to on 0.0.32

Scott,

0.0.32 is working great for me Smile Thanks,

Fyi:

1) I'm having the black screen issue with Trivia using Automatic Full Screen Music Playback, if I disable FS playback CV skips the trivia

2) Countdown seems to have disappeared, was it part of the Feature bumper?

3) Is it possible to include a setting to Fade In/Out the audio of Video Bumpers?

I'm on a mac mini, with OSX 10.8

EDIT: Oh, and I'm using the RC1 of Isengard, so that might be a problem.

Thanks for taking on this project!

This will be fixed in the next Beta release.

Could you please elaborate on what is planned for the future? And who is creating these contents?

I can't go into much detail, because it's pretty random at the moment. More Video Bumpers, Short Films, Countdowns, Trivia Slides, the list goes on and on. There are 3 content creators associated with CinemaVision at the moment who will be, and have been, creating all of the content up on the site that wasn't created by a member of the community. We're hoping that members of the community get involved and start uploading their created content to the site for us to host.

That's odd that it would work on one but not the other. Are they different hardware revisions maybe? Can I get logs from both of you?

Dark_dude, can I talk you into trying to run the default CinemaVision sequence to see if you get the same issue that bigpanda is seeing?

As for Arctic: Zephyr, I think the CinemaVision code was added to GitHub, but may not have made it to the repository just yet.

Great to hear! Can I get a log from you? When you create it, go through it first with the black screen issue, and then fix it and run the add-on again - then send us the log. Countdown is a type of Video Bumper now. You can either modify an existing Video Bumper module, or create a new one with the type Countdown. We took it out of the default sequence, but it's not gone by any means. It's possible, but I'm not sure it would get much use, and could cause some issues. When video bumpers are created, the audio should match the video pretty well. Either way it would be something that would go in the next round of development.

Here you go Debug Log

eg:
1) When, Automatic Full Screen Music Playback is on, Trivia= black screen then music visualization... When I press esc, the slides show up.

2) When, Automatic Full Screen Music Playback is off, Trivia = black screen then slides... 0.0.30 was skipping the Trivia so 0.0.32 fixed that part of it

That causes a black screen for me as well. All I chanced was deleting everything I do not want from the sequence, setting the correct path, disable limit trailer by rating and enable auto update when editor starts and last enabled hide queue dialog.

I don't think there are different revisions. But I don't know for sure.

Why the Trivia slides are .jpg files ? They should be a .jpg + a text files
This would help a lot to create slides and translate them

Thanks for the info! This will be fixed in the next update by temporarily disabling visualization and then setting it back after trivia.

Thanks for testing that, extremely helpful. We think we have a fix for this. It'll be in the next version. We'll need your help to test it!

We have all of the data in databases that we can export and give to you to translate, if you're interested. There's no way that will cleanly overlay the text dynamically, although that is something we toyed with. Even if we could overlay the text on a background, in order to get all of the effects (text and otherwise) on the slides, we have to run them through a program like Photoshop and then edit the results. We would have no way to make the content look professional.

Hello everyone,
I'm a big fan of the new add-on and can't wait until it's finished Smile
I have come across something in the sequence editor that could be an issue or just me having done something wrong.

Upon launching the sequence editor keyboard movement kind of locks and I can only move left and right not up or down in each module.

If I press enter in between two modules it opens the settings for the module to the left.
However if I press enter on one of the modules it adds a new module instead to its left.
^^^Doing this seems to reset the buttons to their correct functioning but it must be done every time I open it and then I have to remove the newly created module.
It seems as though the button functions are kind of reversed initially?

It gives this error in the log file every time I select the gap in between two modules.
Running Windows 7 32bit - Kodi 14.2 - CV Beta 0.32

Code:
09:29:11 T:5604   ERROR: Control 300 in window 13001 has been asked to focus, but it can't

This has happened since first beta for me, however strangely it didn't on the original GitHub version.

I haven't read of of anyone else experiencing anything similar so I thought it might be worth posting.
If you want I can upload a full log or create a short video to demonstrate as it's a bit hard to describe properly.

As far as playing sequences goes the add-on is working great most of the time - I suspect the sequence editor problem is linked to some other random anomalies.
Lastly I can't seem to get the countdown video to play or the rating prior to the feature - Is there a setting I may have wrong?

Keep up the great work Big Grin

P.S Just tried v0.33 and same result

Hello,

Great work on this so far. I just started testing this today. I have no music files to play during trivia... where is a good source for these?

Also, I currently use the phillips hue addon to control my lights, which seems to work ok currently. I know I've read that this type of integration would be a future item, but I am wondering if some more advanced control could be added, like not turning on the lights if it is not dark? That would be a major improvement over the current phillips hue add-on.

thx

Hello, this looks like a very great plugin. Currently setting up and downloading files now! I would love to help with testing of the Home Automation if you would like. I am running OpenHAB and it has a REST API and also can send HTTP GET commands really simple to do different things. I'd like to see if within the Home Automation I could have different GET commands for when the Trivia ist arting than lower when the trailers are on and then off when the movie starts. Things like that.

After a little bit of toying around I have found that to work this with OpenHAB was extremely easy. All that was needed was a simple text file to send a CMD. Here is an examples of what I did, I created a simple text file and called in livingroom_lights_75 and placed just this line in it

http://10.1.1.166:8080/CMD?Light_LivRoom...hts_Dim=75.

I then saved this file into the Actions folder. The next step was to create the action within the sequence using the setup and it worked perfectly. No extra setup needed at all. In hindsight I may changed the file names to before trailer, after trailer, before movie so this way it makes more sense and i can edit those files at will to my liking, just thought I'd toss out there though that is looking to use OpenHAB.

The only issue I seem to have now is that when it gets done playing the trailer, which keeps playing in spanish and not english....anyway the movie doesn't play. I get audio and no video. I've tried 3 movies and when I play without CinemaVision the video plays fine. Any reason for this or something I can check? Thanks in Advancned. I love how well this works and its easy configuration.

Hi,

try to use your nice addon. I only have 3 sequences. Trailer, audiobumper and ratingbumper. Trailer and Audio works perfect, but rating could not be detect. In the log stands "unknown" in my database is a "16" for rating. I use German FSK Rating.

Here is the logfile.
