I'm a complete noob and only got Kodi for GCL but I installed the posted zip file and had games working yesterday. Today I can log in but I cant see the game feeds. I am in Canada with the rogers email login. I don't know why it's not working anymore but yesterday it was and it was gorgeous 60 fps delighfulness. I've tried reinstalling the repository file to no avail and still not working. We're close.

Version 0.8.4 still won't play live games. That is the version you posted above which is the same as the other day.

It's not working for me. Couldn't logon with 0.8.0 at all. Updated to 0.8.4 from the zip file that was posted on October 8th. Worked great: logon was fine and was able to watch live games. The very next night I went to watch a game and while the logon issue is no longer there, there are no games listed when I try to watch one. The current days games are listed and correctly say "live" when the game starts. When you select a game however, there are no feeds listed. Just the .. To go back.
I tried running the update to 0.8.4 again from the zip file. I've uninstalled, rebooted kodi and reinstalled. Nothing works. Help! Would really like to be able to use kodi with my gamecenter subscription.

Try deleting the cookies.lwp file in ...\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.nhl-gamecenter
I have to do this every night to get the games to show up.

It seems most everyone posting can get the games to show up with the latest patch, but getting them to actually play is another story.

just so i'm clear, this will only work for live games if you have a valid gamecenter account or a Rogers Cable login, correct?
