We put all of the action file templates that people help us create in the Kodi Action Files section on the website. The action files you need are there, but you'll have to fill in the blanks to get them to work. Let us know if you have trouble.

Hey Scott. I just did a fresh install and downloaded the release candidate. I had to end up rebuilding my sequence from scratch, but everything appears to be working again. So you can cancel the support ticket I put in over the weekend. Smile

Hey, before I switch over from CE to this, how do I get it to play? Is it integrated into skins like CE? Or will I have an option when selecting the movie?

Everything you need is posted on page 1 by the OP. There is also a list of skins noted with integrated support for CinemaVision. For skins that support CV, go to the movie's info screen and select CinemaVision. Good luck!

I'm sure I sound dumb asking but. When I download the files for the CinemaVision (eg. the THX .mp4) I click download and get a message saying it will download in 60sec and the timer counts down. Once it hits 0 the screen just goes away and if I open it up again, it's back to showing a download link. No file gets downloaded. What am I missing? Thanks.

Hi, i just find out about Cinema Vision, because its in Aeon MQ6 now. Which is great !
I think its beautiful !!!

But ( there is always a but.....) .....

Request:
I am missing a button "At to couchpotato"
It wood be very nice to add movie direct to couchpotato, when browsing the movies.
I hope you will planning some think like this.

WIll post logs when I can get back to the console and grab. With the release of the beta, quiting Kodi 15.2 for the Mac to freeze and requires a force quit to exit. If I launch, but don't run CinemaVision, then Kodi will exit normally.

Unless you are part of the Red Carpet Club, there are download restrictions in place. If you have been downloading a lot of files, you may have hit this. My suggestion would be to download audio format bumpers from their source, which is provided in the file information on the download page with credit and website, and only download CinemaVision specific stuff from the CinemaVision website like custom bumpers, slideshows, etc. The alternative would be to join the Red Carpet Club and not have to worry about it. ^_^

Huge help man. I got it from the source just fine. Weird thing is, I hadn't downloaded ANY files from the cinemavision site yet. That was my first one. I even tried a couple of different files with the same outcome. Maybe it had something to do with the browser. Oh well. Thanks for the help.

I'd give a different browser a shot. I use Firefox with Ghostery and I don't have a problem with file downloads from the CinemaVision website.

Few questions, using Kodi 15.2 and Cinemavision 1.0.0.b1, and the Arctic: Zephyr skin.

Why does it have to add every single item in my KodiDB every single time I run Cinemavision editor?

I have a few different sequences. How do I choose one from the context menu when launching a movie with Cinemavision? I only have the Cinemavision option, no options for which sequence I want to use.

Arctic Zephyr is listed as one of the skins with Cinemavision support, but I'm still getting the OSD popping up between all my sequence items. Are there any skins that don't do this?

I keep crashing when trying to play a movie with Cinemavision, when it goes to play my 2 trailers from KodiDB. Can I upload an abbreviated version of the log? Pastebin won't let me upload the full thing. The sequence works every time when I test it from within CV.

Star Wars trailers in full 1080p. full lossless dtsHD-MA and both full 3D and sbs 3D.

I haven't looked through the rest of the site at other trailers yet but wow, these just make everything so much better in CV.

BTW Steve, curious if it's been mentioned (I think it may have) if there's a way to select the specific local trailers you want in a sequence so if you plan a specifc movie night only those trailers you want to be show will play. Right now I just rename my regular Trailers directory to Trailers1 and make a new Trailers directory where I copy the 3 specific ones I want to for CV to find. This way I get Star Wars every single time Big Grin

Edit: Here's a link to their list of available 5.1 HD audio trailers with notes about 3D availability. AWESOME!
