Do you turn on all options under acceleration in kodi or do I turn the 23.976 version on then turn the other rockchip version off?

Is this for the 24p mode? With 1.0.22 firmware, I see 24.000 for both 2D and 3D.

On 1.0.22, when I play 3D ISO, I get no passthrough audio. With 3D MVC mkv, hd audio passthrough works. Has anyone else got this problem?

Have you turned on the 23.976 mode in kodi?

Yes, mirror88 has mentioned before that Rockchip's solution is to adjust the playback of 23.976 to 24.000. There will be no true 23.976 playback on Rockchip RK3368.

It looks like they are trying to do it the correct way currently 23 976 is played back at 23.94.

It may have been that way on 1.0.20. On 1.0.22, I can't detect 23.94Hz on my Lumagen video processor or the Quantum Data analyzer. I have checked with "23.976 optimize" feature on and off under 1080p24, 1080p60 --> 1080p24 switching modes. I only see 24.000/24.00001.

wesk05, that 23.94Hz reading came from my Epson 5025UB's info. tab w/firmware v1.0.21. I haven't tried v1.0.22 yet. BTW, did you also enable the Android '1920x1080p-24' setting (under Display > HDMI)?

Yes. As mentioned in my previous post, I have checked this on HDMI output mode set to 1080p24 and 1080p60. I have also checked it with Rockchip 23.976 optimize option turned on and off. I only get 24.000 or to be more precise 24.00001Hz. This is for both 2D and 3D (Frame packing). With 3D ISO, I get no audio and I see that someone else on Zidoo forum has also reported similar issue. With 3D MVC MKV, I do get HD audio passthrough. I haven't watched any thing long enough to comment on audio drop outs or stutters.

I will connect it directly to my Epson 5020UBe and see what it reports.

**** EDIT *****
Checked it on Epson projector. It shows 23.99 for 2D and 3D. I don't think the refresh rates reported by Epson is all that reliable.

The public version V1.0.22 in my test is inferior to V.1.0.21..

In the .22 the Buffering is much slower that might be preventing the Hd audio passthrough at first attempt (change to DTS and back to DTS-HD seems to work)

It seems theres a issue with Rockchipcodec

Rockchipcodec ON
While skipping up/down in the remote the video get accelerated for few seconds (its very annoying)
No pixelization when skipping up/down
The buffer seems very slow

Rockchipcodec OFF
While skipping up/down in the remote the video works like it should be.
There visible pixelization when skipping especially in ISO format.
The 3D doesnt work
The buffer seems very fast

Hi Every body:

We had updated our kodi to 15.2 and release the source code to github.

Every one could get the code from here:

Have fun!

Hi

Don't you need a new ffmpeg patch also for Kodi or does it work without it?
The old ffmpeg patch doesn't work on the new 2.8.0-Jarvis-alpha3-HEVC ffmpeg.
You have to revert this commit and change back to the old 2.6.4-Isengard ffmpeg to compile correctly.
