Well all left equal (tvheadend etc) returning to a pre- 12dec release it works like a charm. Sad

@fritsch
This time I'm here only to wish you a Merry Christmas (very in late....) and a Happy New Year!
Thanks for all your efforts and great work and, overall, for your great patience in teaching everybody how to manage things.

Have a good day "Meister"!

Videoplayer uses a future API if tvheadend needs adjustments so it works with it - it needs to be done. We are no tvheadend developers. We don't break it voluntarily ...
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I forgot _all_ patches for the kernel in the last build - will be fixed up shortly. Thx @Milhouse

But to make it weirder even, my local tvheadend backend server works without any problem. Only this one which is outside my home network gives these weird issues..
Install a pre 12-12 openelec and it works like a charm again. In all versions my local backend works fine.

Ask the tvheadend devs - we don't use it at all.

There is a new release of kernel 4.4.0-rc7 and there is also a new release of libva 1.6.2
one more build ? Smile

Just check my github ... libva 1.6.2 is in since > 2 weeks?

Edit: Nice - got lost ... thx for pointing out.

And now as you guys want something bumped: Can you tell me _why_ such a bump would be useful?

How couls i return to pre 12dec release? I want to do this but in ppa there is no such old build. I need only kodi and kodi-bin for x64 packages.

Not available - fix the tvheadend issues. One cannot stop the future.

Sorry, didn't know that. My impression was that this is a general known issue regarding live TV. Anything i can help/test?

It's working perfectly with vdr that fernet and I are using. Continue to post debuglogs in the thread you linked.

I use Android apps to control Kodi (Kore, Yatse) and from some time i cannot initiate audio and video playback from these apps. I can only control playback once it's started using remote. I've tried audio/movie/tv series playback initiation using apps and also webinterface directly and nothing starts from apps and only audio starts from webinterface.
The same apps work without problem with stable Kodi 15.2 on second host but not with Kodi from ppa on my BeeBox.

Can you help me with it? Here is log with all checks (movie/tv series/audio playback from WWW and Yatse) - http://paste.ubuntu.com/14243616/

The same issue here. With the latest Jarvis 16.0 build it works. With any 17.0 build (fritsch or Milhouse) I get this behaviour.

Funny: Using Constellation on an iPad it works... Huh
