Thanks much.

Please reproduce and then gather: journalctl -a | pastebinit add the content to a txt file and please go to bugs.freedesktop.org and file a new bug under drm/intel section, title Switching refreshrate ends in black screen. Powercycling brings display to life or something. Trigger: Switch some times from 50 to 60 hz.

Thanks much in advance.

Edit: Please link the bug in here, so I can track it. Btw. it has nothing to do with kodi.

Yes, that will work. After DRI select intel.

Summary as seen above. The rest is in journalct and in dmesg output. You can add those as txt files.

Thanks again.

Edit: Also add /var/log/Xorg.0.log as you are at it.

I think so - it might happen that they close it down or transfer it to bugs.kernel.org - we will find out. Worst thing that might happen: You have to reopen on bugs.kernel.org. I will send such bugs directly to upstream in the future - as I most of the time don't have the hardware and playing proxy between users / bugtracker is costing a lot of time. Therefore: thx again!

Excuse me? I don't get you.

Also happens when starting playing a video
kodi.log http://pastebin.com/ApP8MXq7
dmesg http://pastebin.com/EXQLuQBT

Those are made with OE updated to Jan 13 version, but the same happened with Jan 8 too.

That's your issue isn't it: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93714

So you can add your logfiles there, please. I cannot solve it, but intel hopefully can.
