Hey guys
Running this app on a raspberry pi and I keep getting a playback error. Anybody know of a resolution?

Running 2016.2.13 and when I go to today's games I get the date 1970 and not today's date. The streaming works fine when I go to the right date and select the game, but any fix for why today's date does not take me to the right date?

What device are you running this on? Jan 1 1970 is the dawn of time in the computing world. Sounds like the system clock isn't set correctly or at least isn't available at the python level.

I am testing no spoilers only archives games. the early games are over but the scoring is already on.

I don't know what you want? I think there are more than enough options with spoilers, considering the official apps only allow an on or off option.

It's work fine. When all games are over the score disapear.

Today's games doesn't work for me either properly, when I go to it, I often get some random date in the past, some times 1, 2, 5, etc days ago (not sure if it is related to when I last used the addon?) I have the addon on Kodi 16 RC3 on two FireTV's. I get the same behaviour on both. I never had this problem with any of the other NHL addons that go to 'today'.

Edit: I should add Kodi has been shut down and exited between streaming sessions. Today I went to watch todays games and when I opened it, it showed tuesday (of this week) and I had to pick next day multiple times until I got to Sunday. The date on the FireTV box is correct.

Also, when stop playing a game sometimes, the addon crashes and I return to the Kodi Video menu. Has anyone seen this? I haven't got a log on this one but I can.

Just tried live games with 2.13. Started the Kings/Devils game, then switched to Avalanche/Sabres. Worked beatifully, no errors, excellent picture. And yes, I am using unblock-us. Looking very promising so far, great work!

- Fixed Recap and Extended Highlights stream quality issue
- Added station identification to stream selection list items when applicable
- Adjusted Fanart for live and archive games

If at all possible, update your Kodi version. Seems like kodi 14.1 for Raspberry Pi is having difficulty requesting the key files in the stream.

Thank you very much for your continued work on this addon, I sincerely appreciate it! I no longer get the "too many usage attempts error" and live games, full replay games play back ok.

The only strange behavior is that my version seems to be reported as 2016.2.11, regardless if I update (which does seem to happen - i.e. the updated files seem to download). I have the addon set to auto-update, but when I select manual update, it still shows 2016.2.11 as the latest version in your repo.

P.S. Thanks also for adding the period and time to games in progress...! (the little touches help too ;-)

Another sideline question for Erack and others here... what skin are you using in Kodi? I'm currently using Aeon Nox. I ask because some things associated with the addon show up differently based on the skin in use (obviously) - but this may not be optimal. For example, in Aeon Nox, the theme has a dark grey background -- when displaying favorite team color (in my case, blue) - this does not show up very well against the background and is hard to read. Also, the team fanart/logos in the default list view are "cut off" (i.e. the images which are pulled from githubusercontent.com are 256x256, but the Aeon Nox skin seems to display less than this resolution vertically in the list view larger area to the right side of the screen)...

Perhaps I should be switching to a more appropriate skin (trying to find out what that is! ;-)

I'm using madnox and fanart are more miss than it. They get cutoff in all views.

I don't really care as long as the games work

Glad you like it. Not sure why it seems to be showing the current version 2016.2.14 in my repo on my devices.

I was saving the layout / appearance stuff for last as it was more important to get some stability for playing streams done, but now that it seems the too many usages error is behind us I will be looking to improve the layout in the weeks ahead.

Btw, I use the kodi's default confluence as my skin.

I just updated and I'm still getting sing-on restriction:too meny usage attempts.I was watching Col-Buff game and when tried to see what is the score on other game everything blocker and now I can not watch anything.I didn't have any other issues.

Tried 2016.2.14 last night - works fine now I think (Kodi 15.2 on Fire Stick)
After watching a game I logged out and then watched part of a 2nd and 3rd game (logged out each time)
No usage attempts this time - will try again tonight

Picture quality is excellent - better than ever
