Spotlight is just another row, albeit with a single item in it. It's the first row and is the focus when the app opens, but it looks and behaves just like all the rest of the rows.
That looks good. I can create it just like that in the skin without too much of work.
Just to be clear: In the top is the spotlight. That has a doubled function ? So it acts as a standalone widget if it has the focus AND it shows the details about a selection you make in the widget rows below ?
Or is in only a details pane for the widget rows ?
I don't have an android box at handy atm so I can not check it for myself.
EDIT: I was just looking at the Netflix webinterface and that also has something interesting... It has a large spotlight on top and if you focus an item in the widget rows it will enlarge and display the details in a box. I'm pretty sure I can also simulate that

Hmm, that won't be possible to create... What I can do is make it either a seperate row OR a details pane for the selected item in the widget rows. So, option 1 is pretty much the same as the current netflix layout but with a little restyle. When you scroll down the spotlight will also scroll away. Option 2 is to keep the spotlight/details pane at the top and present the info for the selected widget.

but it's your descicion of course..
For now I will do the quick fix by adding a scroll.
I will look at relocating it later as I have to move some stuff around to fix that.
Please remind me in a couple of days ;-)

In the simple confluence home layout could there be an option to hide the sub-menus?

I really wish logos were bigger while browsing my library, perhaps there could be an option to enlarge them?
I'd also like the option to show fanart rather then 16x9/landscape art in the info panel.

With Modern Big Vertical home screen layout (3.6.38) - it would be nice if we were given the option to have the menu items centered vertically. I only use 3 menu items so having them aligned vertically would visually look nicer with my setup. Or, what about providing a slider that would allow the user to set a percentage of the vertical alignment?
